Irish animation studio Cartoon Saloon has been around for nearly 20 years, though their most famous feature titles have come in the last decade. The studio counts Oscar-nominated films The Secret of Kells (2009), Song of the Sea (2014), and The Breadwinner (2017) as their only three major feature releases, but that might be about to change thanks to a possible deal with Apple, Inc. Bloomberg reports that, as part of Apple's push into original programming, there are plans for an animated feature film that will be produced through Cartoon Saloon, possibly with even more films to follow. …
