Daniel Craig Didn’t Like Billie Eilish’s No Time To Die Theme At First

Daniel Craig didn't like Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell's No Time To Die theme song at first, according to the music producer who worked on the theme. Siblings Eilish and O'Connell wrote and performed the 25th James Bond theme, "No Time To Die," alongside producer Stephen Lipson. Writing the song in three days on a tour bus, the siblings worked with Bond composer Hans Zimmer, who wrote the film's score. The song was released back in February 2020, two months before the film's initial release date.

Over 18 months later, the song will finally receive its cinematic premiere when No Time To Die hits cinemas in October. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and starring Rami Malek as the villainous Safin, No Time To Die marks Craig's final adventure as 007. Starting his tenure with 2006's Casino Royale, Craig is the longest-serving Bond, edging Moore out by three years. Craig recently spoke about the perks being Bond has afforded him, for instance using his 007-influence to secure his stormtrooper cameo in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Alongside this, it also appears that Craig has influence over wider aspects of Bond's production, including the theme song.

Related: Chris Cornell's "You Know My Name" Is The Most Underrated James Bond Theme

Speaking with CinemaBlend, UK music producer Stephen Lipson, who worked with Finneas and Eilish on the theme, recalls how Craig wasn't initially sold on the song. Apparently, the actor wasn't sure the theme provided the right "emotional climax" for his 007 swan song at first. It was only after Lipson played the song for Craig in the ideal environment of his studio that he really enjoyed the piece, and the "wheels were set in motion." Read the quote below.

"I asked Finneas and Billie to give me a climactic vocal moment which Billie wasn’t too sure about, but when I heard it I knew it would deliver. Most important was getting Daniel’s approval. I finished the mix and everybody was happy but we still had to get Daniel on board. From the start, quite understandably, he wasn’t all that sure that the song delivered the right emotional climax for his final Bond outing, so satisfying him was key ... I suggested that [Craig] come to my studio as I knew that, compared to any other location, it was without doubt the best sonic environment in which to hear it.

... Listening to it as if I was Daniel, I realised that the climax needed to be enormous ... I sat Daniel in the chair between the speakers, hit play and waited for his response. When the song finished he didn’t look up but asked to hear it once more. Barbara and I had no idea how he felt until the end of his second listening, when he looked up at me and said something like, ‘That’s f*****g amazing.’ As soon as he’d approved it the wheels were set in motion and the news that Billie Eilish was doing the Bond theme song appeared everywhere."

The Bond theme became an essential part of the 007 tradition with Shirley Bassey's iconic 1964 Goldfinger theme, but it can also be a perilous journey for the musicians who take it on. Artists have recorded themes over the years only for them to be thrown out in favor of another, while others have turned down the chance to soundtrack a Bond adventure. Nancy Sinatra's classic theme for You Only Live Twice was originally offered to her father, Frank Sinatra, who turned the opportunity down. Now it appears that it's the other way around, with the cast and crew holding the power to reject the artist, as Eilish's song wasn't signed off until Craig had given the go-ahead. Until then, even with the song recorded and ready to go, the artist's involvement was kept under wraps from the public. It suggests that alongside his performance as a grittier version of the iconic British spy, Craig also had a big say in molding the entire franchise, including the theme song, in his Bond's image.

While Eilish's theme has so-far been well received, there's also the risk of some people disliking the song when it debuts to a wider audience. Alicia Keys and Jack White's "Another Way to Die" is the most recent example of a theme that drew many fan's ire. Fortunately for Eilish, this hasn't been the case with "No Time To Die," which Eilish recently said aims to pay homage to Bond music of the past. Like the theme, the film has received strong reviews, with critics praising Craig's final outing for its action, cinematography and emotion. Audiences can hear the new theme for themselves in cinemas when No Time To Die is finally released.

Genshin Impact Leaks: Which Characters May Be Playable Soon

The Genshin Impact community is always looking forward to new playable characters. Because miHoYo only announces new characters a patch or two before they release, there are still quite a few leaked or rumored characters that don’t have a release date yet. It is possible, however, to make an educated guess about which of these leaked characters may be coming soon.

When it comes to character speculation, there are few things to keep in mind. There have been instances when characters are announced or known about but then don’t release for quite some time. For instance, Ayaka, who was a beta character but only released at the end of July, or Cyno, who was announced in the region roadmap released last year and still doesn’t have a release date. Additionally, the current characters that are being released also seem to be Inazuma characters as that is where the story of the game is currently focused. That’s not to say that Liyue or Mondstadt characters can’t also become available, but it seems like the Inazuma characters are in the spotlight, for now.

Related: Genshin Impact 2.2 Livestream: Date, Start Times, & How To Watch

The only confirmed new playable character so far is Thoma, who should be available in Version 2.2. There are, however, some other Inazuma characters that could also become playable. Yae Miko played a rather significant role in the 2.1 Archon Quest and in the Inazuma storyline, as a whole. As the Raiden Shogun’s closest companion, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Miko were to get her own banner. Because the new characters releasing at the moment seem to be oriented around Inazuma, it is possible that Miko will be releasing in the next few updates. Gorou, a leader of the Sangonomiya Resistance, has also yet to be given a release date. Considering he has already been introduced in the storyline, it is likely that he may also be releasing soon.

And then there is Kamisato Ayato, Ayaka’s elusive brother and leader of the Kamisato Clan. Ayato has yet to make an appearance in-game, but it has been possibly leaked by former Genshin Impact leaker Sukuna that Ayato may be coming soon. There has been no official word on Ayato - his appearance isn’t even known - but he is rumored to be a Hydro claymore user. Another as-yet-unseen character that may be coming soon is Arataki Itto, who is mentioned by Sayu and Yoimiya as being the leader of the Arataki Gang. Itto is rumored to be a Geo user by Dimbreath on Twitter, whose account has sadly been deactivated.

All of the above characters are somehow connected to Inazuma and are, therefore, most likely to be coming soon with new updates. However, there are also a few Liyue characters that have been leaked recently. The most likely of these characters to be releasing soon is Yaoyao, who used to study alongside Xiangling and now works for Ganyu. Her arrival may coincide with the Mid-Autumn Festival - or the Moonlight Merriment Event in Genshin Impact - which is currently underway. The 2.2 livestream this Sunday would be the perfect time to announce her. It is also possible that Yaoyao could be the first playable Dendro character added to the game. As the Dendro region, Sumeru, is the next stop for Genshin Impact’s storyline, it would make sense to start introducing the element now.

Yunjin and Shenhe are also Liyue characters that have been leaked. Yunjin will likely be releasing in the future since there is no indication that she is coming soon. Shenhe may not be playable at all, as there isn’t even official artwork for her, and it is rumored that her design was used for other characters. There are also other characters that have been in the game that have yet to be made playable - namely Baizhu and Scaramouche. As Baizhu is a Dendro character - and may have connections to the Chasm - he will probably not be made available in 2021. Scaramouche, on the other hand, is a bit of a wild card. Though he may at some point be made playable, it is possible that he will never get his own Banner. For now, however, players will just have to wait for confirmation from miHoYo to learn when new Genshin Impact characters are coming to the game next.

Robert Pattinson Has Seen Some Of The Batman & Says It's "Really Cool"

Robert Pattinson has seen some of Matt Reeves’ The Batman and thinks it’s “really cool.” The upcoming DC Extended Universe reboot of Batman will see the Twilight alum debut as the Caped Crusader in March 2022. The film will reportedly explore the early days of the Dark Knight’s career in a corrupt Gotham and his mantle as “The World’s Greatest Detective.” Rumor has it The Batman is inspired by comic book storylines like The Long Halloween.

Before Warner Bros. abandoned the Synder-Verse and re-directed the DCEU, Ben Affleck was supposed to star, direct, and write The Batman. However, the star left the project, which resulted in its overhaul into a solo film with no connections to previous franchises. Like Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker, Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne/Batman will exist in his own universe as he encounters a plethora of iconic villains including The Riddler (Paul Dano), Penguin (Colin Farrell), and Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz). The film will also feature Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon.

Related: Every Actor Playing Batman In Upcoming DC Releases

During a recent interview with Variety on the red carpet for the Academy Museum’s premiere party, Pattinson teased what fans can expect from The Batman at this year’s DC FanDome. In addition to saying he and Kravitz had prepared something for the event, the actor talked about his reaction to Reeve’s film. “I’ve seen some of the movie now and it’s kind of really cool,” Pattinson said. “It’s really cool.

It’s already been reported that a new trailer for The Batman will debut at DC Fandome, which begins on October 16. Before the debut of the film’s teaser at last year’s Fandome, many were wary of Pattinson playing the eponymous character. However, the moment his Batman showed off his brutality by pummeling a criminal, most skeptics became intrigued. Realizing the shoes he has to fill, DC recently revealed a promotional clip for The Batman featuring all past versions of the character — from Michael Keaton to Ben Affleck. The Batman is said to be the start of a series aiming to rival Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy.

Despite existing in another universe and being teased as radically different, Pattinson’s Batman will be accompanied by two other Batmen in the larger DCEU. Both Affleck and Keaton are set to reprise their roles in Andy Muschietti's The Flash, which stars Ezra Miller as Barry Allen. Given the multiversal name of that film, it’s possible (but unlikely) that Pattinson’s character will crossover to other DCEU films at some point. The Batman looks to be one of DC Films’ grittiest and most grounded superhero films yet and, to quote “Patman,” it does look really cool.

Exorcist Reboot Will Be New But Connected To Original Says Jason Blum

The Exorcist reboot will feel new while still being connected to the original, says Jason Blum. William Friedkin's 1973 film, based in turn on the 1971 novel of the same name by William Peter Blatty, is considered one of the greatest horror films ever made. Blumhouse Productions, founded by Blum in 2000, has become known for its output in the horror genre, generating both long-running franchises and creative, standalone projects.

Blumhouse offers its directors creative freedom on the condition that they keep budgets small, and their approach has significantly impacted the state of American horror cinema in the 21st century. The hits they produce generally provide massive financial returns, with 2007's Paranormal Activity grossing $193 million worldwide against an original budget of $15,000, and the risk-taking permitted by these profits has kickstarted the careers of filmmakers like Jordan Peele and Leigh Whannell. Their growing reputation for competence has allowed them to start revisiting classic horror properties, which so far includes 2018's Halloween and 2020's The Invisible Man.

Related: Blumhouse's The Exorcist 2 News & Updates: Everything We Know

The company has since started development on a trilogy of films rebooting The Exorcistand in an interview with CinePop, Blum expresses confidence in his approach. He says they intend to do for Friedkin's film what they did for Carpenter's Halloween, and wipe the slate of sequels clean to rediscover what is interesting and successful about the original. This is evidenced, Blum says, by having the same creative team tackle this project:

What I hope to do with The Exorcist is the same thing we did with Halloween, you know. Halloween, the first movie was great, and the second movie was okay, and the rest of them were not very good. And then we came in and kind of re-jiggered it, and people liked it, so I hope we can do the same thing with The Exorcist. Everyone thinks we're gonna fall on our face, but I think, we have the same filmmaker, the same writer, David Gordon Green and Danny McBride. And I think we'll reinvent The Exorcist so that it'll feel fresh, new, different, but, you know, related to the first movie, but also really, really scary.

Elsewhere in the interview, Blum discusses the success of Whannell's The Invisible Man, and says that he would someday like to pursue a sequel. He also confirms that control of the Dark Universe, a collection of films based on Universal's classic movie monsters, has not been turned over to him and remains with the major studio. He does say, however, that Blumhouse will make more Dark Universe movies.

It's understandable for horror fans to be nervous about an Exorcist reboot, given how the first film is revered, but Blumhouse's track record should encourage viewers to keep an open mind. David Gordon Green's Halloween developed an interesting dialogue with Carpenter's film, and while it's not considered on par with the original, it's certainly the franchise's best sequel yet. With Ellen Burstyn set to return in much the same way Jamie Lee Curtis did, this Exorcist trilogy could be another welcome surprise.

Spider-Man: No Way Home Fan Intro Hypes Up All 3 Multiverse Spideys

A fan-made intro for Spider-Man: No Way Home hypes up all of the different versions of the hero coming together in the multiverse. With less than three months to go before the Marvel Studios and Sony collaboration hits theaters, the anticipation for the movie is creeping up. Star Tom Holland and director Jon Watts will reunite for the third time in the blockbuster, but many fans suspect that Holland may not be the only web-slinging hero in its story.

Rumors continue to be persistent that both previous Spider-Men Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will indeed be involved in No Way Home. Since the release of its first trailer, fans have become more convinced that this is the case, despite repeated denials (at least from Garfield). Surprisingly, the promo clip laid out the premise of the threequel fairly well, explaining how it will connect to the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home and how it transitions to becoming a multiversal story. Doctor Strange's (Benedict Cumberbatch) role in the film has also been revealed, establishing its ties to Sam Raimi's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which will follows No Way Home in terms of MCU's currently confirmed slate.

Related: Doctor Strange’s Spider-Man: No Way Home Mistake Was Set-Up In Infinity War

While the first No Way Home trailer has been generous in revealing plot details about the movie, fans are still clamoring for more information, with one even taking updates into their own hands. For now, both Marvel Studios and Sony have yet to release any more official content in relation to the project. However, that hasn't stopped fans from creating their own, as proven by the YouTube channel, Spectrum Cinema. In one of the channel's recent videos, the user came up with an edit imagining what the intro of the blockbuster would look like. The clip uses the classic score from Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, as well as voiceovers from J. Jonah Jameson (J.K. Simmons) and Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). Check out the full video below:

Click here to see the original post

At this point, Marvel Studios and Sony are staying tight-lipped about the potential for both Maguire and Garfield to show up in No Way Home. Aside from the pair, there have also been rumors that Charlie Cox, star of the Marvel TV/Netflix show Daredevil, will reprise his role as Matt Murdock. Like Garfield, the Daredevil actor has repeatedly denied claims of his involvement. Nonetheless, rumors continue to fly around, with many fans still convinced that they will appear. If anything, the trailer already hinted at previous franchise' villains popping up, like Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin and Jamie Foxx's Electro. Alfred Molina's Doc Ock was even fully unveiled in the clip, sending Spider-Man 2 fans into a tail-spin. Given these appearances, it's hard to ignore the potential for their respective wall-crawlers to feature in the movie.

Taking into consideration all the evidence supporting the idea that both Maguire and Garfield will be in No Way Home, it will be interesting to see if Marvel Studios and Sony would save their potential reveals for the movie itself, or confirm their appearance in an earlier trailer, given the persistent fan speculation. With only one trailer out thus far, audiences can expect a follow-up rolling out in the next several weeks wherein more story details for Spider-Man: No Way Home could be revealed. If fans are indeed in for some Garfield and Maguire cameos, it would be the perfect opportunity to confirm these avid theories.

Gift for sweetheart

A young man wanted to purchase a gift for his new sweetheart for her birthday. As they had not been dating very long, after careful consideration he decided a pair of gloves would strike just the right note: romantic, but not too personal.

Accompanied by the sweetheart's sister, he went to Nordstrom and bought a pair of white gloves. The sister purchased a pair of panties for herself. During wrapping, the clerk mixed the items up and the sister got the gloves instead. Without checking the contents, the young man sealed the package and sent it to his sweetheart with this note:

"I chose these because I noticed that you are not in the habit of wearing any when we go out in the evening. If it had not been for your sister, I would have chosen the long ones with the buttons, but she wears the short ones that are easier to remove.....!

Screen-Used Freddy Krueger Glove & Michael Myers Mask Up For Auction

Screen-used versions of Freddy Krueger's glove and Michael Myers' mask are going up for auction. The two horror villains were introduced in A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) and Halloween (1978), respectively, and each went on to head their own franchises. While they both have multiple identifiable elements to their costumes, the two props on offer are their signature pieces.

Both of these items have legendary status among horror fans. John Carpenter's Halloween is considered a tone-setting example of the slasher subgenre, and the film keeps things simple, with Michael's iconic face covering originating as a store-bought William Shatner mask. Many films would follow the mask-wearing, knife-wielding template set by Michael, though Craven intentionally sought to depart from this trend with A Nightmare on Elm Street. Thus, Freddy's burned face is left exposed, and he wields a bladed leather glove instead of a weapon he'd need to hold.

Related: Nightmare On Elm Street Should Copy Halloween 2018’s Best Reboot Trick

Now, according to TMZ, fans with deep enough pockets have the chance to own screen-used versions of these famous props. Prop Store is set to run an auction of more than 1,000 pieces of film and TV memorabilia valued at up to $7.6 million in total, and among them are a bladed glove from A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors and a white mask from Halloween: Resurrection. Both are considered centerpieces of the auction, expected to sell for between $27,600 and $41,400.

Topping the slasher props in estimated value, though, are Tobey Maguire's red Spidey suit from Spider-Man 3, expected to go for $70,000, and the sonar batsuit display from Batman Forever, which could make just over $82,000. Bidders could also go after a Gryffindor student robe from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, an autographed Back to the Future hoverboard, or Maximus' helmet from Ridley Scott's Gladiator. The auction will take place from November 9-11, and anyone interested can register online at the Prop Store site.

While one of those horror films is definitely better regarded than the other, the chance to own a version of two of horror cinema's most recognizable props is a tantalizing one for fans. It's impossible to predict how the bidding will actually go at an auction, but based on Prop Store's estimates, those hoping to snag Freddy's glove or Michael's mask will have to cough up some serious cash for the privilege. There are luckily plenty of other, more affordable recreations of the costumes from A Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloweenbut when attempting to impress on Halloween or freak out friends and family late at night, it would be nice to have the real thing.

Will Pokémon Legends: Arceus Have Gym Leaders? | Screen Rant

Much of the information revealed about the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Arceus suggests that the game will contain many different features compared to mainline Pokémon games, but one feature not yet confirmed is whether or not the game will feature Gym Leaders. With what is known about the plot and setting of Pokémon Legends: Arceus so far, their inclusion seems unlikely.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is set in the Hisui Region, an ancient region in the same area as the modern Sinnoh. Players will take on the role of a field researcher, gathering information by venturing out and interacting with Pokémon. This is a departure from a traditional Pokémon plot in which trainers travel around challenging Gym Leaders for badges, and it is possible that this is because there simply are no Gym Leaders around to challenge.

Related: Pokémon Legends Arceus' Basculegion's Origin Story Is Really Dark

Because Pokemon Legends: Arceus takes place in the distant past, it predates the creation of any sort of Pokémon League in Hisui. Aside from communities like Jubilife Village, the terrain of Hisui seems mostly unsettled, teeming with wild Pokémon. With the region still in its developmental phase, there is no Pokémon League with Gyms and Trainers, and thus there doesn't seem to be any place for Gym Leaders. Unlike other games in the series, where a trainer's ultimate goal is to defeat Gym Leaders and become Champion, the player's main task in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is to explore Hisui and complete the region's first Pokédex as a member of the Galaxy Team's Survey Corps. This new goal potentially does away with the old necessity of Gym Leaders, providing a different kind of challenge.

It is possible that Pokémon Legends: Arceus will replace Gym Leaders with battles against Noble Pokémon, a unique feature to Arceus. These special Pokémon are considered quite powerful, and players can encounter them throughout the region. With the reveal that some of these Noble Pokémon can be fought like bosses, it could be inferred that they will provide the kind of ongoing goals and challenges that might take the place of the Gym Leaders missing from the standard formula. In that sense, Noble Pokémon could be similar to the Totem Pokémon of Pokémon Sun and Moon's Island Challenge.

More than likely, Pokémon Legends: Arceus will not contain Gym Leaders, but even so, the reveal of NPCs known as Wardens that look after Noble Pokémon could also hint at the possibility of Gym Leader-like Trainers. Since Wardens can engage the player in traditional Pokémon battles, they too could be Pokémon Legends: Arceus' version of Gym Leaders or Trial Captains, though not enough information has been released to say for certain.

How Phoebe Waller-Bridge Changed No Time To Die Script

Since being brought on to polish the script for the latest James Bond film, No Time to Die, in 2019, fans have wondered exactly what changes Phoebe Waller-Bridge made. The Fleabag creator/star and three-time Emmy winner was hired by the troubled production at the behest of Daniel Craig, who was determined to bring Waller-Bridge’s wit to the film. Since then, a near constant deluge of rumors have circulated, suggesting numerous possibilities.

For some, Waller-Bridge may have seemed a somewhat unlikely choice to write a Bond film. But one needs only to watch some of the 36-year-old’s past work to realize just how talented she is. Though equipped with an excellent knack for the comedic and heartfelt, her work on the Emmy-winning Killing Eve has proven that she’s equally capable of bringing action and adventure to audiences as well. It might be too early to say as much, but the decision to hire her for No Time to Die could prove to be the smartest move the production made. This being Craig’s final outing as Bond, his insistence that Waller-Bridge be brought on to work on the script suggests that he was completely convinced that she was what the film needed.

Related: Why Tom Hardy Would Be A Terrible Choice To Play James Bond After Daniel Craig

As questions regarding what sort of changes Waller-Bridge made to No Time to Die’s script persist, EW has provided a little more insight into the situation. During an interview with the film’s director, Cary Joji Fukunaga, the subject of Waller-Bridge’s contributions came up and specifically, the importance of dialogue. Describing the Fleabag creator’s approach to writing scenes and characters as being “almost a science for her," Fukunaga explained:

"There was no script when I joined, it was a complete wipe-the-chalkboard-clean, start over again. Barbara and Michael had some things that they wanted to take place in the story, some characters they were excited about but didn't know what their part was in the story. I sat down with Purvis and Wade initially, and we hashed out a treatment and a screenplay, and I took that screenplay and worked on it a bit myself, and then we brought in Phoebe some time around March, which was when we started shooting. I really like her mind; I really like the way she thinks about character, and especially scenes. It's almost like a science for her. We talked about what we had; I talked about what characters I wasn't happy with yet, and about situation and dialogue. Dialogue is often times the last thing you do, it's the most cosmetic thing, but great dialogue just elevates a scene to a whole other level. So we talked a lot about the different characters and how to sprinkle in some better dialog throughout, and it was a lot of fun actually."

If asked what the most important aspect of a Bond film is, it’s a safe bet that few Bond fans would say dialogue. However, Fukunaga’s point that great dialogue elevates a scene to a whole new level is a very valid point. Perhaps fleshing out the character of Bond and going beyond his license to kill and womanizing ways wasn’t of much importance in the franchise’s earliest entries, but today, finding out who Bond is as a person remains one of the simplest ways to elevate the character. The more understood Bond is, the closer audiences can get to the character, and with that closeness comes the sort of audience investment that only the strongest calibre of films can offer.

After so many delays and problems, whether or not No Time to Die will be a hit is a difficult guess to make. What can be said about the film, however, is that with Waller-Bridge’s talents what they are, there’s a very good chance that the film will have a solid script. The franchise could be about to take a seismic leap into a new era – which is perhaps the perfect way for Craig to depart a series he initially played such a major hand in revolutionizing years before.

Animal Crossing Player Unveils A Wario-Themed Restaurant

A player of Animal Crossing: New Horizons has shared their exterior restaurant build, themed after Nintendo's one and only Wario. The colorful build is perfect for any fans of Wario's bright and eye-catching look, perfectly suiting any island that uses the Animal Crossing and Super Mario collaborative items and clothing.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons lets players build their dream creations, whether they be restaurants, libraries, gyms, or parks. By using the game's terraforming tools and large catalog of decorative items, players can let their imaginations run wild when it comes to unique island designs. The Nintendo release also allows players to create their own custom pixel designs which can be shared with others, allowing for lots of creative freedom within the game. ACNH's item catalog expanded with the Super Mario collection earlier this year, which added Mushroom Kingdom-themed decorative pieces such as Power Stars, as well as themed costumes, and even functional Mario warp pipes in Animal Crossing.

Taking the official Animal Crossing and Mario collaboration one step further, Redditor Lasaga-Boi recently took to the AC subreddit to share their work-in-progress Wario-themed build. The player has made the exterior of a restaurant, complete with Wario's signature yellow and purple coloring, along with a car park area, neon sign, and multiple Mario blocks. The user snapped a screenshot of the current state of their build with their playable character standing outside, dressed in the official Wario outfit with mustache and hat. Those looking to keep tabs on the build's progress can find the user on Reddit.

See the post on Reddit here.

Anyone looking to make a similar design should find the Wario Animal Crossing build fairly easy to create.  Items used for the restaurant include custom-designed Simple Panels, to mimic glass doors, placed in front of a terraformed cliff topped with the Mario blocks. The purple variant of the Diner Neon Sign is also used, as well as customized Stalls with purple and yellow stripes. The flooring also uses custom designs for both the restaurant entrance and the car park. The official Mario items used for the build, including the Wario outfit, can be purchased through Nook Shopping throughout 2021.

Wario probably won't be getting an official themed Animal Crossing restaurant anytime soon, but a cafe has been confirmed for the game's Museum. Brewster's Roost cafe is making its debut in New Horizons sometime soon, with a coffee shop extension for players' museums. The Coffee-living Brewster has been one of many NPCs missing from the latest Animal Crossing game, with fans desperately hoping for his inclusion via an update. Nintendo confirmed Brewster's Animal Crossing: New Horizons arrival during the September Nintendo Direct, with more details to be announced during an Animal Crossing-focused Direct set for sometime this October.

Addams Family 2's Nick Kroll Is Open To Playing Live-Action Uncle Fester

The Addams Family 2 star Nick Kroll says he would be open to playing Uncle Fester in a live-action Addams Family film. The 2019 animated film The Addams Family is the newest iteration of the iconic kooky and lovable family, and Kroll is set to return to provide the voice for Fester once again in the upcoming sequel. The Addams Family 2 sees Morticia and Gomez plan a family vacation in an attempt to bring their family back together again since Wednesday and Pugsley are growing up fast. However, things do not go to plan, and it appears as though the Addams clan could be in for a real adventure.

Kroll's take on the iconic character of Fester, the hunched-backed, sunken-eyed uncle of the Addams family, was fairly well-received by audiences, alongside the rest of his star-studded castmates' performances. In this animated reimagining, Charlize Theron voices Morticia Addams, while Oscar Isaac stars as her loving husband, Gomez, Chloë Grace Moretz voices Wednesday, and Finn Wolfhard voices Pugsley (however, Wolfhard will not be returning for the sequel, with Javon Walton set to appear instead). Snoop Dogg also makes an appearance as cousin IT. Kroll is certainly not a newcomer to the voice-acting game, as the comedian has starred in a number of animated shows across his career, most notably Netflix's Big Mouth, which Kroll co-created.

Now, it seems as though the comedian could be looking to step out of the recording booth for his next Addam's Family appearance. Speaking to ComicBook, Kroll talked about the prospect of bringing his Fester to life in live-action alongside his Addams Family cast, saying that "playing Uncle Fester has been a joy." The actor noted that it certainly is easier to bring a character as instantly recognizable as Fester to life through animation as opposed to "10 hours of makeup a day, prosthetics, a big suit, and a bald cap." Check out Kroll's full quote below.

"If they wanted to Mark Ruffalo [it] and dot me up [for motion capture], I'd be up for that. Having spent four hours a day in makeup to do the hit series Cavemen on ABC, I have some PTSD from the makeup chair, but I love playing Fester and I would love to perform this alongside Oscar [Isaac] and Charlize [Theron] and Chloë [Grace Moretz]. I'd be curious how they'd have Snoop Dogg in the live-action version, but Snoop seems to be down to do the work ... And that's the beauty of animation. You can be anywhere and do it and not have to be in 10 hours of makeup a day, prosthetics, a big suit, and a bald cap. Playing Uncle Fester has been a joy and, as you mention, has such a long history, franchise, to be a part of it feels pretty awesome."

The actor then went on to joke about how his physical appearance doesn't matter so much when he's voicing characters, rather than actually working in front of a camera. Kroll commented on Kumail Nanjiani's transformation for the upcoming Eternals movie, stating that he can "appreciate how Kumail went for it and committed" before joking that he "might go for it and commit just in the opposite way, just become a big-old round boy like Uncle Fester." In terms of what's next for the actor, Kroll will appear in Olivia Wilde's upcoming adaptation Don't Worry, Darling that is set to release next year.

If Kroll were to step into the live-action shoes of Fester, he'd be joining the likes of Christopher Lloyd and Jackie Coogan, who portrayed the creature-like man in the 1990s feature films and the original television series, respectively. While Kroll says he would be up for taking on what could potentially be a somewhat demanding role for the actor, it does seem as though he holds a slight reluctance to get back into the make-up chair any time soon. With a new live-action Addams Family series, Wednesday, currently in the works at Netflix, no casting has been confirmed for Uncle Fester at this time. However, given Kroll's relationship with Netflix due to his work on Big Mouth, perhaps the comedian's name could be on the table. As for now, fans can catch Kroll in The Addams Family 2 when it releases next month.

Steve sees an ad for hiring a music producer.

The ad reads: "MUSIC PRODUCER WANTED! Must be able to play piano, type 40 words a minute, and be bilingual. We are an equal opportunity employer!" So he decides to go apply for the job.

The hiring manager is pleased with his resume but says, "Well your resume looks good, but I have to admit Steve, I'm kind of torn between hiring you or the other guy..."

"Who is the other guy?" Steve asks.

"It's that cat over there." and the manager points to the stupid cat sitting in the chair next to him.

"What? That's ridiculous? Everyone knows a cat can't play piano!" Steve says. And at that moment, the cat proves him wrong and plays Mozart's 40th symphony with all four of his little foots on the piano in the room.

The cat said "MEOW."

"Well I have to admit that I am surprised, but a cat can't type 40 words a minute." And not only does the cat prove Steve wrong again, it types on the computer, types 200 words a minute and prints a 3 minute essay about the Coriolis effect.

The cat said "MEOW."

"Are you kidding me?" Steve shakes his head in disbelief. "You can't seriously consider hiring a cat over me? I need a job because I'm a human and the cat is just the cat!"

And of course, the cat grabs the sign and points to it reading "equal opportunity employer."

The cat said "MEOW."

Steve gets angry and says, "Look this is all impressive, but I know %100 sure that their is no way in hell the cat is bilingual!"

The cat said "WOOF."

What Genshin Impact 2.2's Release Date Is | Screen Rant

Genshin Impacts 2.1 update is well underway. In this update, two new 5-star characters were given their own Banners, the Inazuma Archon Quest saw its conclusion, and a new fishing mechanic was added to the game. However, Genshin Impact is constantly getting new content - roughly every six weeks or forty days - which means that the release date for Version 2.2 is right around the corner.

Since Inazuma was added to Genshin Impact, the game has seen quite a bit of new content. With several new playable characters and exciting new puzzles and enemies, the Electro region has certainly lived up to the hype so far. The upcoming 2.2 update will hopefully add even more quality content into the game.

Related: Genshin Impact 1-Year Anniversary Events & Rewards Explained

Following the usual trend of an update every forty or so days, the 2.2 Genshin Impact update should be released on or around Wednesday, October 13, 2021, depending on the time zone. However, no official release date has been given yet. As the date approaches, there should be a 2.2 Special Program livestream that will detail not only the release date but also the new content. From what miHoYo has officially announced, it is known that Thoma will become a playable character in the 2.2 update. He is a Pyro polearm user, and is expected to be a 4-star character, which means that a new limited 5-star character for the initial 2.2 Banner has not yet been officially revealed yet.

Additionally, there is one island that has yet to be released for Inazuma, which will probably be making an appearance when Version 2.2 releases. This final island, called Tsurumi Island, was initially announced in the 1.6 livestream and is said to be surrounded by a dense fog and has been abandoned for many years. Other than that, the island remains shrouded in mystery. How Tsurumi Island ties into the rest of the Inazuma storyline has yet to be seen, but it will hopefully reveal more of the Raiden Shogun’s backstory and possibly even lead to a second Story Quest for the Electro Archon when the 2.2 patch comes out.

Even though miHoYo has started cracking down on leakers through its “Leakers Hunt Decree,” some information has managed to slip through - including new enemy types, events, and possible character Banners. The only new character for 2.2 that has any beta testing is Thoma, which suggests that there could be some character reruns coming, with leaks suggesting characters like Hu Tao. The focus is currently on Genshin Impact’s first anniversary, but once that event has passed, there will hopefully be more information shared on the 2.2 update.

Dave Bautista Corrects Daniel Craig's Spectre Broken Nose Story

Dave Bautista corrects the story of how Daniel Craig broke his nose while filming SpectreThe 24th film in the James Bond franchise and the second from director Sam Mendes released in 2015 and went on to earn more than $880 million at the global box office. The latest Bond movie, Cary Joji Fukunaga's No Time To Die, is scheduled to release in the US on October 8.

With Craig set to make his fifth and final appearance as the MI6 agent, much of his press tour for No Time To Die has been revisiting his history with the franchise, which included a good amount of physical damage. The Bond actor has been hurt several times filming these stunt-heavy movies, and said his worst injury was to his knee during the Spectre train fight with Bautista's assassin Mr. Hinx. He accidentally got his revenge, though, when he threw a punch that broke Bautista's nose, after which he claimed he yelled and ran off set to avoid potential payback.

Related: What Would Bond 25 Be Like If Craig Had Left After Spectre?

Bautista, however, says that last part of the story isn't quite accurate. Craig didn't run, according to his recollection, but did some colorful screaming and hugged the former WWE wrestler to apologize. Bautista says they laughed it off, he quickly tended to his nose and costume, and they got right back to shooting:

Bautista ends his message by expressing love for both Craig and the scene that injured them both, which is a brutal, memorable fight and a standout moment in Spectre. The two smash multiple pieces of the set as they exchange blows, with Hinx's jacket even being lit on fire, until the assassin has Bond virtually defeated and on the verge of death. Only the intervention of Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux) gives the gentleman spy enough time to get the upper hand, and Bautista's character ends up violently ejected from the moving train.

It seems that Bautista might have exposed his former co-star embellishing an anecdote for a talk show, but Bond fans are surely loving their back-and-forth. One part of the story that didn't change was the nonchalant way Bautista was able to continue filming, the toughness of which Craig had extolled in his telling. With No Time To Die finally on the horizon, viewers can only hope Fukunaga's film provides a scene as memorable as this one from Spectre, and some equally entertaining behind-the-scenes stories certainly wouldn't hurt.

Squid Game Could Be Netflix's Biggest Show Ever, Says Netflix Head

Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos says that the breakout South Korean thriller series, Squid Game, has the potential to be the streamer's biggest hit of all time. Squid Game debuted on Netflix earlier this month to glowing praise from both critics and audiences. The series is directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk and features an all-star cast including Lee Jung-jae (New World), Gong Yoo (Train to Busan), and Heo Sung-tae (The Age of Shadows). Since the show's release less than two weeks ago, Squid Game has consistently remained the number one show in Netflix's "Top 10 in the U.S. Today" category.

The show's premise is simple: 456 contestants face off in a series of children's games competing for a pot of ₩45.6 billion KRW (approximately $38.7 million USD). The catch? In the vein of survival movies like Battle Royale and The Hunger Games, losing contestants are eliminated by death. The circumstances surrounding the game's origins and ultimate purpose are shrouded in mystery, with the only common thread linking the contestants being a shared financial struggle.

Related: Squid Game Cast & Character Guide

Sarandos recently sat down with Deadline to discuss Netflix's latest viewership numbers. While the Netflix co-CEO touched on a number of topics – such as the streamer's lack of viewership metrics transparency and the recent lawsuit filed against Disney by Scarlett Johansson – one of the more intriguing tidbits Sarandos imparted was Squid Games stellar performance on the platform. He claims that Squid Game "could be Netflix’s biggest show ever if the early viewership results hold." Check out the full details below:

Sarandos also estimated that the recently released South Korean death match drama Squid Game could be Netflix’s biggest show ever if the early viewership results hold — numbers that the exec in a display of a lack of transparency did not reveal Monday.

Squid Game's meteoric success in the U.S. is highly surprising for a number of reasons, the first being the lack of recognizable star power for a US-based audience. Although Squid Game's cast is star-studded by South Korean standards, relatively few of its actors would be immediately recognizable to an American audience (perhaps apart from Gong Yoo, though his limited role in the series amounts to little more than a cameo). Furthermore, the lack of a coordinated marketing push, in comparison to the streamer's more established franchises like Stranger Things and The Witcher, shows that the buzz surrounding the show is carried entirely through word-of-mouth.

Netflix's success with Squid Game is but one branch of the latest wave of Hallyu, a portmanteau of the Korean words for "Korea(n)" and "wave" that describes the growing popularity of Korean culture overseas. With K-pop music frequently topping music charts and Bong Joon-ho's Parasite winning best picture at the Academy Awards in 2019, South Korean popular culture is near ubiquitous these days. Netflix would be wise to continue to invest in original Korean-language programming – a niche that they've already carved for themselves with shows like KingdomExtracurricular, and now Squid Game.
