James Corden to voice title character in Super-Intelligence
Variety is reporting that James Corden (Ocean’s 8, The Late Late Show with James Corden) will voice the title role in New Line’s upcoming action comedy titled Super-Intelligence.
Melissa McCarthy will star in the film and husband Ben Falcone will direct, marking the fourth collaboration between the duo. They have previously teamed up to work on Tammy, The Boss, and Life of the Party.
In Super-Intelligence, McCarthy will play Carol Peters, a former corporate executive whose earnest yet unfulfilled life is turned upside down when she is selected for observation by the world’s first super-intelligence (Corden) – an artificial intelligence that may or may not take over the world.
The screenplay was written by Steve Mallory, who also wrote The Boss. Production on the film starts in July this year.
Corden has animation voice roles in this coming September’s Smallfoot, as the 2020 sequel Trolls World Tour.
