Solo Reshoots: Ron Howard Made Big Changes To The Kessel Run

The action sequence is arguably <a href="https://ift.tt/2kZKzJb of the film's standout moments</a>, giving context to one of Han's <a href="https://ift.tt/2xUTuFb famous boasts from the original trilogy</a>. More than forty years after the smuggler bragged about completing the run in less than 12 parsecs, audiences finally got an opportunity to see it play out on the big screen, and the results were very exciting. It was more than just a bit of fan service, as the Kessel Run connects to the ticking time bomb element of the Coaxium.</p><p>Howard, of course, joined <em>Solo</em> under unusual circumstances <a href="https://ift.tt/2kUAdtY original directors Phil Lord &amp; Chris Miller were fired</a>. This meant that a majority of the movie was already in place by the time Howard became involved. Still, for all the talk about how it was necessary to stick to Lawrence and Jon Kasdan's script, there were some changes made to the film.
