The LEGO Movie 2 Adds Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Stephanie Beatriz & More

Warner Bros. Animation found big success in turning everyone's favorite building bricks into a movie. While the idea may have been laughed at initially, the creation of the world established in <a href="https://ift.tt/2wEULj3 LEGO Movie</em></a> laid the foundation for a universe to grow. Unfortunately, the spinoffs the followed - <a href="https://ift.tt/2LWgciW LEGO Batman Movie</em></a> and <em>The LEGO Ninjago Movie</em> - were not as well-received financially, but they still made quite a bit of money.</p><p>Despite the last two outings not making as much money, Warner Bros. Animation hopes the mainline sequel will become another phenomenon. Phil Lord and Chris Miller have shifted directing duties to Mike Mitchell this time around, but they're still on board as writers and producers, so it will still feel like the first movie.
