Bumblebee Will Speak in ‘Bumblebee’, and Dylan O’Brien Provides the Voice

The upcoming Transformers spinoff Bumbleblee is poised to break new ground in more ways than one. This is the first Transformers movie not directed by Michael Bay, as Kubo and the Two Strings helmer Travis Knight steps into the director’s chair, and it’s also an origin story, chronicling the beginnings of the titular Transformer as he encounters a young teenage girl (Hailee Steinfeld) in the 1980s.
