At long last, Stephen King's The Stand is being adapted (again) for TV. There was a 1994 miniseries made of the novel, but this new project has been going back and forth between a series, a miniseries, and a movie (possibly franchise) for years (you can see that development in our archives). Now, it has finally found a home and an episode count. CBS All Access announced today that it has ordered 10 episodes of The Stand.
