Players looking to become the ultimate alchemist won't want to miss Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator, a PC crafting simulation game about brewing perfect potions. Developed by niceplay games, Potion Craft has been impressing players since its release this September, with a Steam review score of "Very Positive."
Simulation games allow players to live out almost all of their dreams, from their wildest fantasies to the most mundane of activities. From heavy-hitters like the Farming Simulator series to the recently-released PowerWash Simulator, there's no shortage of sims for every type of player. There's also plenty of games that focus on the mythical and magical, whether players are building their own wizarding world in The Sims 4 Realm of Magic, or waiting for potion classes to start in the upcoming Hogwarts Legacy. Despite the many magical games on the market, players haven't yet been able to become an alchemist in quite the way that Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator allows.
Available through Steam Early Access, Potion Craft takes players on an immersive experience as they learn the art of potion brewing. The people of the town will speak with the player about their troubles, leaving users to figure out the best potion solution. Players can then grow and harvest their own ingredients from the Enchanted Garden, including flowers, berries, roots, fruits, mushrooms, and minerals, and use their cauldron and other tools to make the perfect remedy. Potions can be used for healing, invisibility, poison, or something else entirely.

With its deep crafting system and unique 2D visuals, Potion Craft is likely a must-play for anyone who has ever been interested in alchemy. Unlike other games that have including potion-creation, Potion Craft tasks players with not only growing the ingredients for their concoctions but also grinding them up with a pestle and mortar, and using a range of different alchemy machines and techniques to make their brews. Once the game leaves Early Access, players can expect even more features including the ability to expand their potion shop. More potion effects, recipes, ingredients, and potion bases will also be added as the studio continues the game's development.
While Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator is available to buy and play via Steam right now, there's no word on when the game will leave Early Access. The development team is aiming to evolve the game with plenty of new additions in the future, promising to keep the title in development until it's wholly complete. For now, players can still enjoy lots of the potion-brewing game's core features and hone their alchemy skills in preparation for the full launch.
