Last night the VES Awards were handed out, and the big winners of the night were Avengers: Infinity War, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and Lost in Space. Infinity War took home the night’s top prize of “Outstanding Visual Effects in a Photoreal Feature” along with wins for “Outstanding Effects Simulations in a Photoreal Feature” (Titan), “Outstanding Animated Character in a Photoreal Feature” (Thanos), and “Outstanding Compositing in a Photoreal Feature” (Titan again).
