FX Orders ‘Y’ to Series; Will Premiere in 2020

Last summer, we reported that FX had put together a cast for the pilot Y, which is based on the excellent comic series Y: The Last Man from Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra. For those unfamiliar with the books, the story follows Yorick Brown and his helper monkey Ampersand as they navigate a world where every mammal with a Y chromosome has died in a pandemic except them. With women now running the world, Yorick must team up with Culper Ring agent 355 and Dr. Allison Mann to discover why Yorick survived and how they can repopulate the Earth. …
