GTA Online: New F1 Racing Cars Offer Insane Stunt Possibilities

Players of Grand Theft Auto Online now have the ability to unlock Formula 1 racing cars, and the insane stunt community may never be the same. First introduced to players of Grand Theft Auto V all the way back in 2013, GTA Online has continued to grow and evolve over the years, retaining and increasing its massive player numbers by repeatedly and regularly offering new content updates as well as purchasable in-game items, hideouts, and vehicles.

Recently, Rockstar Games allowed players the chance to win their own F1 car at GTA Online's newest gambling den, the Diamond Casino & Resort, ahead of the game's new Open Wheel Series update. Once the new update lands, players will no longer be able to win the F1 racecar in the Diamond Casino & Resort and, if they still desire such a vehicle for their collection, will have to purchase it for themselves from the in-game Legendary Motorsport company. For those players who are passionate about performing and sharing ridiculous Grand Theft Auto V stunts and tricks, however, this new optional purpose might just be a necessity.

As reported recently by RockPaperShotgun, it doesn't take much of an effort for players to get their F1 up to a ridiculous speed, and it only takes a little flick of the controller to go from speeding normally on the ground to driving upside-down on the roof of a tunnel like Tommy Lee Jones in the original Men in Black movie. A player doesn't need much of an imagination to wonder exactly what the GTA stunt community is going to come up with to utilize the F1's momentum and propensity for sticking to whatever the vehicle is currently driving on, especially when viewing RockPaperShotgun's official Tweet showcasing the F1's driving mechanics, which is embedded below:

Ever since Rockstar Games introduced the ability for players to create their own Grand Theft Auto Online missions to share with each other, a certain subset of fans have made it their goal to provide more and more ridiculous stunt courses for GTA drivers to attempt. The introduction of Formula 1 racing vehicles will surely only exacerbate this, and will likely eventually result in thousands of  user-made racetracks which take place upside-down at 130+ miles per hour.

As Rockstar continues to support Grand Theft Auto Online and its Western-themed counterpart Red Dead Online, news about any possible new entry in the GTA series continues to be scarce. GTA Online continues to be a profitable venture for Rockstar Games and their parent company, Take-Two Interactive, but eventually even longtime fans will grow tired of exploring the same city over and over again, no matter how many fancy new cars the developer brings to the table. Until news about the next GTA game does surface, however, players can rest assured known a whole host of new F1-related challenges are surely on the way for Grand Theft Auto Online players.
