When it comes to the morally corrupt and depraved cast of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Dee Reynolds prides herself in being the most well-adjusted and intelligent member of the gang. As the series progresses, though, it becomes obvious Sweet Dee isn't as sweet and as smart as she thinks.
Dee manages to get herself in as much trouble as Dennis, Frank, Mac, and Charlie – sometimes even instigating the drama. Like everyone else, Dee is ultimately out for herself, and she follows through with any plan that promises her wealth, fame, or revenge. Like everyone else, Dee manages to delude herself and justify her actions every step of the way.
10 "I'm Living The High Life, So Suck On That, White Stains."
Dee figures she can make big bucks being a surrogate for a rich suburban couple. When she finds out the couple has a pool in their backyard, she believes she's struck gold.
Never one for humility, Dee brags about her new gig to the rest of the gang. Once they find out about the couple's luxurious backyard, they crash the party. Needless to say, Dee's chance to live the high life doesn't last very long.
9 "I Have Been Taking This Place Up The Butt With A Little Thing I Like To Call 'Dee's Double-Drop'."
Dee gets a job as a waitress when a corporate chain offers to buy Paddy's Pub. She spills the beans about engaging in a shady money-making tactic known as Dee's Double-Drop. This involves printing a ticket twice for the same order, giving the ticket to two tables, and pocketing the money from one of the tables.
Dennis and Mac are well-aware of this move, though. They let Dee know they've been taking money out of her purse for years on account of all the double-dropping she does at Paddy's Pub.
8 "I Wrote A Song And I'm Gonna Throw It In There."
Dee aspires to be an actor, and she thinks she possesses the prowess and talent to make it big. When Charlie writes a musical in order to impress his forever crush the Waitress, Dee jumps into the lead role.
Due to some creative differences with Charlie, Dee tells him right before opening night she plans to include an impromptu song in the middle of the play. Dee's song doesn't turn any heads, though.
7 "And We Also Have A Social Responsibility To Keep Teenagers From Drinking."
The gang realizes they can make a lot of money if they let minors drink at Paddy's Pub. Not only do they water down the booze; they also charge higher prices to unknowing novice drinkers.
Dee initially plays the morality card as the gang discusses the possibility, but her tune soon changes about underage drinking. Dee really only cares about social responsibility when it results in personal gain.
6 "You Light One B**** On Fire And Everybody Freaks Out!"
Sweet Dee and her brother Dennis, in opposition to lax gun regulations, decide to show the rest of the gang how easy it is to buy assault rifles. It turns out it isn't so easy for Dennis and Dee.
The siblings are denied the right to buy guns after a local gun shop runs background checks on them. Dennis has multiple infringements on his record, and it turns out Dee was institutionalized in college after setting her roommate on fire. Yikes.
5 "I Think These Supplements Are Doing A Great Job On Their Own."
Frank preps Dee for a match against the daughter of Frank's old boxing rival. In order to jumpstart her training, Dee decides to take supplements. In addition to extra strength, the supplements give Dee a lot of extra rage.
Instead of working hard, conditioning, and learning the ins and outs of boxing, Dee finds a shortcut. What more can be expected from a Reynolds, though?
4 "Sweet Dee Just Beat The System."
Dee watches her male compatriots pursue questionable activities, standing in severe judgments of their choices while exploring her own brand of degeneracy. Dee believes she has the skills to beat everyone else at their games, but this rarely turns out to be the case.
Dee can also be quite savage with her scheming. Just ask Cricket or Bill Ponderosa, two men Dee loves belittling and taking advantage of.
3 "Well, At Least I'm Not Covered In Stupid Tattoos And Have A Cigarette For A Mother."
Dee doesn't hold back from tossing out insults. Considering her company, though, Dee always needs to be prepared with devastating comebacks.
This particular insult is directed toward Mac. Dee cuts right to the core, taking aim at Mac's body art and chain-smoking mother. Sweet Dee strikes again.
2 "You're Larry Bird."
In Dee's defense, the Paddy's Pub gang loves to body shame her. They are relentless regarding her physical appearance, acting aspirations, and dating life. They often compare her to a bird, and sometimes to basketball star Larry Bird.
Despite how poorly they treat her, Dee still aspires to be part of the gang.
1 "We're Drinking Tequila Out Of Sunscreen Bottles."
In the end, Dee Reynolds is as clueless and self-serving as her male counterparts in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Dee is the queen of the scheme. While she may be more educated than Mac or Charlie, Dee is just as daft.
Case in point: concealing liquor in sunscreen bottles with Dennis while on vacation.
