East Sea Shellos is having its own dedicated Spotlight Hour in Pokemon Go. This guide will show players how they can prepare for this event. Spotlight Hour is a weekly event where a single Pokemon has their spawn rate drastically increased. Every Tuesday, this Pokemon will make an appearance from 6 pm to 7 pm local time. Occasionally, it's a Pokemon that players might already have or one that is already insanely common. Although, August is looking to switch up this formula a bit. The last two Spotlight Hours are shrouded in a mystery of what Pokemon will be the mainstay for it. Until then, both East and West Sea Shellos will be having their own dedicated Spotlight Hours. This guide will show players how they can prepare for this event.

The thing that makes East and West Sea Shellos so valuable is dependent on which region in the world the player resides in. Players will be able to find West Sea Shellos in the Western Hemisphere while East Sea Shellos can be found in the Eastern Hemisphere. For those players to look to capture every Pokemon form in the game, they will need to travel around the world to find the most elusive. This is why this Spotlight Hour is so special. Regardless of the player's region, they will be able to find the East Sea Shellos. This guide will show players how they can prepare for East Sea Shellos Spotlight Hour.
East Sea Shellos will have its Spotlight Hour in Pokemon Go on Tuesday, August 10th from 6 pm to 7 pm local time. Here is how players can prepare for this event.
West Sea Shellos will replace East Sea Shellos for the next Spotlight Hour. The last two Spotlight Hours of the month have yet to be announced but they will likely be new Pokemon. It will be interesting to see which Pokemon they reveal.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is filled to the brim with mysteries and oddities for players to discover, from grand spectacles to small details, perhaps none quite as charmingly strange as the chicken necromancer. Skyrim has included everything from some of the funniest bugs and glitches like giants launching players sky high, to dark, expansive quests around catching killers and assassins. But the chicken necromancer is probably near impossible to top, even for a game as wide as Skyrim.
Necromancers are a powerful class of magic users that specialize in reanimating the dead. They often summon skeletons and other undead to fight alongside them whenever they are engaged in battle with the player or other NPCs. The chicken necromancer is a bit special compared to the others, and not just because of the chicken. It's more due to the fact that he's just really not very good at his job.
Related: Skyrim's Illusion Magic Is Actually Mind Control
Players should absolutely track down this novice necromancer if they want more of Skyrim's vast and sometimes disturbing lore, or if they need a soul gem or are just looking for a good laugh. Once encountering the poultry reanimator, he will summon chickens to fight by his side and charge into battle. It's a sight most won't forget too quickly, so here's how intrepid explorers can find the chicken necromancer of Skyrim.
To begin with, players should travel to the southeast region of Skyrim where the city of Riften is located. Starting at the Nordic tomb called Geirmund's Hall, they should then travel south towards Honeystrand cave, and end by heading towards a rocky hill to the east where the chicken necromancer can be found. He will either initiate combat, if he's aware of the player, or can be taken out from a distance with a crossbow sneak kill. For the players that choose to charge in to fight the necromancer and his undead chickens head on, they're in for an easy fight. The poor guy can be taken out with just a hit or two, and his chickens aren't much stronger.
For the lore hunters, Book 10 of Frostfall can be looted from the novice necromancer's body, which recounts a disturbing story about one of Skyrim's most prolific magic wielders, Turala. But finally, before players leave the chicken necromancer for good, they can get one last laugh by taking the chicken egg from the nest that sits atop the altar which will reanimate a chicken of their very own.

Erika Jayne from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is facing more complications as jewelry purchases made from Tom Girardi’s firm were revealed. Early on, Erika refused to hand over her bank records to a trustee in connection to her estranged husband’s bankruptcy case. The trustee speculated that the reality star may have hidden assets for Tom. Erika maintained that she was innocent in Girardi Keese’s involuntary Chapter 7 bankruptcy case. New reports revealed jewelry purchases were made with funds from Girardi Keese.
The singer and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star maintained her innocence when news broke about Tom’s bankruptcy case. The unfolding drama on screen did not help Erika’s image. While fans questioned the former singer’s innocence, another housewife defended Erika after the release of a Hulu documentary. Candice Dillard Basset called out fans on Twitter in defense of Erika. The Real Housewives of Potomac star told fans they weren’t loyal and to “Judge not lest you be judged,” because the documentary was meant to villainize Erika.

Us Weekly shared that jewelry purchases made from Girardi Keese were revealed. Attorney Ronald Richards told the magazine that Erika turned over some records, but there are still missing pieces. Richards said, “She’s been turning it over, but we’re having some discovery disputes as to what’s been redacted and stuff like that.” Jewelry purchases were found that raised a lot of questions. Erika and Tom were accused of embezzling money after their divorce. The funds were settlements from the families of the victims involved in the Lion Air Flight 610 crash. As of now, the jewelry purchases have not been directly linked to Erika. Richards added, “We saw jewelry payments that the firm has bought from a jeweler.”
Richards shared, “...you know, jewelry doesn’t come with certificates of title, so we still need to explore that.” This might spell trouble for Erika’s innocent image. Erika implied to her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars that other women were involved in her decision to divorce. Richards also said, “We don’t know who else Mr. Girardi would be buying jewelry for.” If Erika’s claims are true, the jewelry may not be linked to the former singer after all. Evan C. Borges, Erika’s attorney, sure seems to think so. Borges said, “Everything Erika did is legitimate. No assets are hidden. Erika is allowed to move on with her life.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has maintained her spotless image on screen. Her co-stars expressed many concerns and questions, leaving the split down the middle when it comes to believing Erika’s innocence. The housewife stood by the claim that she did not know about her ex-husband’s finances. Erika once said, "Some people call me cold, but that's not ice, its diamonds." What do you think about it all?

Warning! Spoilers for Iron Man #10 ahead!
Iron Man has lived in all sorts of grand and strange houses, but his new home has some giant pests that make Attack on Titan’s eponymous titans seem like kids’ stuff. Instead of giant men, Iron Man has something that poses a familiar threat—giant robots.
In recent issues of Iron Man, Tony Stark has been marooned on an alien planet. Plucked from his normal, superhero life, and still reeling from a neck injury from his fight with Korvac, Tony finds himself transported to an alien planet—and he’s not alone. The planet is inhabited by a community of people who have all been stranded on the planet without explanation and with no way of ever getting home. The new refugees have, astonishingly, built a community and a home for themselves, sharing amongst themselves and with their newest arrival, Iron Man. Led by a benevolent and retired Kree colonel named Yar, and, bizarrely, Stilt-Man, the community mostly enjoys a sense of peace and harmony. Mostly.

In Iron Man #10, by Christopher Cantwell, Cafu, and Frank d’Armata, Tony decides to explore his new home and discovers the broken and abandoned bodies of giant robots scattered across the landscape—Ultimos, with power still in them to juice up Tony’s suit. Yar declares them “quite a quandary” and fellow community member Colin Richard, aka Avro-X, theorizes that this is the Ultimo home world, with the massive machine being what ultimately killed the planet’s previous inhabitants. The Ultimos aren’t all broken, however, which is a fact Tony learns the hard way when the massive robots start attacking his new town, smashing buildings and, horrifyingly, eating the community’s citizens. Tony enters the fray to defend his new community—one which he is reluctantly beginning to enjoy and appreciate—angling with the machines as they stomp through the town. The fight quickly turns nasty when one Ultimo scoops up Yar in a giant metal fist and bites down on Yar in a spray of blood that would have any Attack on Titan fan cringing in sympathy.
Attack on Titan has been a massive hit since arriving in the United States. The story follows a world where humanity is waging a war against giant humanoid creatures called Titans, who attack and eat people. Considering the popularity of both manga and anime, it’s not unlikely that Marvel were inspired to use their own giant humanoid creature to attack and eat Iron Man’s new make-do community as well.
With their leader down for the count, Tony agrees to join Colin Richard and others to help defend the town. Throughout the comic, Tony expresses skepticism as to why any of the refugees would want to stay on the planet, and why no one was attempting to find a way back to their former lives and homes. After Yar’s gruesome death, Tony abandons his desire to escape and accepts this Attack on Titan-esque community as one that could be a positive and healing experience—if it weren’t for the man-eating robots randomly attacking the community. But, what’s a big, man-eating robot against Iron Man?

Over the years, fans have become acquainted with Tom Nook, one of the staple characters of the Animal Crossing series. While many conversations with Tom Nook are strictly about business, such as paying off debts, there are instances in which he will open up about more personal matters. With each game, more details about the businessman are revealed.
Still, for all that is known about him, Tom Nook's age is still a mystery in the Animal Crossing series. At no point in the series does Nook ever directly mention how old he is. However, it is possible to approximate the answer by following the clues laid out by his comments throughout the series.
Related: Animal Crossing Player Refuses To Be Kicked Out Of Nook's Cranny
It is by examining Tom Nook's detailed backstory throughout Animal Crossing as a whole that the hints to his age start to appear. In Animal Crossing: Wild World, Nook speaks about his childhood as if it occurred long before the events of the game. He details how, in his youth, he ventured out to the big city to make his fortune and remained there for years before returning. From this description, it could be speculated that Nook was around 18-20 when he left home.
By the time the player meets Tom Nook in Animal Crossing, he is an accomplished businessman, boasting a general store, a realty business, and a land-development company. Given the scope of his endeavors, it might have taken Tom Nook around 20 years to reach his present-day success. Following this logic, then, Nook could be around 38-40 years old.
It might also be possible to estimate Tom Nook's age by referencing Animal Crossing's personality types. Each villager in the games has one of several established personalities which determine the way he or she acts. After some research, fans have proposed a correlation between an Animal Crossing NPC's personality and age. For example, the hypothesis states that villagers who fall under the "Jock" category might be 15-19 years old from their youthful demeanor and attitude, while villagers with the "Snooty" personality feel around 26 due to their serious, independent lifestyles. Interestingly, this theory associates Tom Nook's personality type, "Cranky", with villagers between 32 and 80 years old.
By this theory as well, then, Nook's age could potentially be somewhere between 38 and 40. Still, these conclusions are purely speculation. Perhaps a future Animal Crossing game will give Nook an official age. Until then, fans can still celebrate Tom Nook's birthday on May 30th.

For a series based on player freedom, Mass Effect is surprisingly limited when it comes to morality. Most major decisions across the trilogy are split relatively cleanly in half: not only is there a morally correct option, but those options are typically better from a gameplay perspective, as well, since Paragon choices tend to give players more benefits compared to Renegade. Mass Effect 4 has the opportunity to rework the system, and should do so by keeping its moral choices hidden.
On paper, the Paragon and Renegade system sounds fine. It allows players to interpret Shepard as they see fit, whether that means making them more idealistic or outright ruthless. In practice, though, over 90% of Mass Effect players choose Paragon in their playthroughs of the series. This seems to indicate that Renegade decisions just aren't as worthwhile to pursue as their Paragon counterparts. This becomes increasingly obvious by the time of Mass Effect 3. Taking Renegade choices such as destroying the Rachni and sabotaging the genophage cure leaves players significantly underprepared for the final areas of the game, and can in fact prevent them from achieving the best possible ending of Mass Effect 3.
Related: Mass Effect Merchandise From Bethesda Raises Some Eyebrows
Recently, BioWare went on to reveal the statistics behind some of the more specific decisions across the Mass Effect series as well. For example, the majority of Mass Effect players choose male Shepard rather than female Shepard, and 94% of players save Wrex on Virmire. A common trend behind the data conveys that Paragon choices are more popular than Renegade ones by a significant margin, at least in Mass Effect Legendary Edition. 93% of players spared the Rachni Queen in Mass Effect 1 despite the fact it was set up in-game as a moral conundrum with no clearly correct answer.
One factor that could impact this is that Paragon and Renegade decisions are clearly visible on-screen. Paragon dialogue appears blue and Renegade choices appear red, and in Mass Effect 2 and 3, interrupt options will frequently appear alongside a clear indication of which side they impact. Players can go into the menu at any point and check Shepard's alignment, and certain features are locked if players don't have high enough Paragon or Renegade scores. For instance, both Miranda and Jack can't be made loyal unless players have enough points in either area to settle their dispute in the latter half of Mass Effect 2. This essentially encourages players to pick a side and stick with it in order to maximize their points.
Mass Effect 4 should make it less clear which choices are Paragon and which are Renegade, and both should have unique benefits and drawbacks. Players should be encouraged to make decisions based on what feels right for their player character as opposed to what will earn them the most points in either regard. This approach would make Mass Effect feel more immersive and would overall strengthen the series' approach to roleplaying. Unlike Andromeda, which entirely removed Mass Effect's morality system, Mass Effect 4 should instead rework it to improve and expand upon one of the fan-favorite staples of the franchise.

Disney's Descendants is receiving another new story in the form of a manga. This manga is currently listed with the title, Disney Manga: Descendants 2021. It continues where Descendants 3 left off and will reveal the next chapter of Auradon and the Isle of the Lost.
Disney's Descendants first aired on Disney Channel in 2015. It has received two sequels, an animated series, spin-off novels, comics, manga, and animated specials. The movie tells the story of the Villain Kids (VKs): Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos. They are the children of popular Disney villains Maleficent, Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella de Vil, respectively. Villains and their children live on the Isle of the Lost, while the children of Disney's heroic characters and royalty live in the magical land of Auradon. Descendants took the VKs and showed them a new life, which has expanded to include more villains and heroes throughout the rest of the franchise.

Now, manga publisher TOKYOPOP is going to release a new manga that continues the story of Disney's Descendants. This will be the third manga that the publisher is releasing under the Disney Descendants line. The current title is listed as Disney Manga: Descendants 2021, though the "Descendants 2021" is likely to change in the near future. The creative duo behind this upcoming manga is Jason Muell and Natsuki Minami.
Opening the bridge between Auradon and the Isle was the easy part - bringing two disparate cultures together will be the real challenge that Mal must face. Realizing that she needs help, Mal brings on the two people who best personify their respective homes as consultants: Audrey for Auradon and Uma for the Isle of the Lost. They're charged with helping Mal introduce their own cultures to a whole new audience... but how?
As far as Mal sees it, they can only really truly understand the issues that the people of Auradon and the Isle of the Lost will face by first experiencing it for themselves, which means that Audrey will need to live a day in Uma's life on the Isle and Uma in Audrey's shows in Auradon. This experience - full of embarrassing missteps and unexpected situations - opens up Audrey and Uma's eyes to just how inattentive they'd been to the challenges faced by those who'd grown up elsewhere and inspires them to join forces with Mal to find a better solution to truly integrate their cultures.
Uma made her debut in Descendants 2 and has since become a staple character of the franchise. Audrey began her journey as a selfish Auradonian princess, but became a villain within Descendants 3 following King Ben's proposal to Mal - his long-term reformed villain girlfriend. Recently, Descendants: The Royal Wedding was announced - an animated special which will feature the wedding of King Ben and Mal. However, that isn't the only new story that the VKs are getting. Disney's Audrey and Uma will be switching places and finally helping to make the changes that the final movie in the trilogy mentioned both worlds needing. The barrier between Auradon and the Isle may have been taken down, but the futures of the villains and their children were not revealed. The way to merge Auradon and the Isle was not revealed. It was simply said that Uma and Mal would work together to make it happen. Now, fans will see this happen - though Audrey will also be added into the mix.
Audrey may be an Auradonian and princess by birth, but she did spend time as a villain not too long ago. While she initially doesn't seem like the best pick to be an ambassador considering her typically snobby attitude, her journey from hero to Disney villain and back again could make her perfect for the role. She knows what it's like to be tempted to do evil things for personal gain despite being raised rich and privileged. However, she doesn't know what it's like to scrape for food, fight to survive, or hustle others to stay ahead. This will provide one of the most VK-hating characters with a brand new perspective that is sorely needed.
Swapping the lives of two iconic characters within this franchise, particularly different kinds of villainous figures, is an intriguing idea. The latest installment in this Disney spin-off series is definitely one of the most ambitious. The two previous manga titles within this series included Disney Manga: Descendants - Evie's Wicked Runway and Disney Manga: Descendants - Dizzy's New Fortune. Now, there will be another and it is sure to reveal a lot about what the VK's futures will look like. Disney Manga: Descendants 2021 is slated for release on October 12, 2021.

Version 2.0 of Genshin Impact will introduce several new playable characters into the free-to-play RPG from miHoYo. So far, though, Kamisato Ayaka is the only new character to be featured on a Banner during the current update. However, both Yoimiya and Sayu will be a part of the next Event Wish in the game. Here's when fans should expect to see Yoimiya's Banner release.
Although she was leaked online from the Version 2.0 beta test, Yoimiya was confirmed for Genshin Impact thanks to the game's official Twitter account last month. Since then, she was shown off during the 2.0 livestream and appears in the new Inazuma content. She is a 5-star character and a Pyro user who wields bows in combat for ranged fire-based attacks. And, at least for now, it looks as if she'll be the final 5-star character to arrive before Version 2.1 releases.
Related: Genshin Impact 2.1: All Confirmed New Playable Characters
While Yoimiya looks like an upgraded form of Amber (another character with a Pyro Vision and a bow user), she's also a pyrotechnics expert in Inazuma. For those looking to pull Yoimiya through Genshin Impact's Wish system, saving up Primogems early is key - especially for people who want to keep the game free-to-play. Here's everything to know about Yoimiya's expected release date in the Version 2.0 content.
Officially, Yoimiya doesn't have a release date yet. However, based on previous Banner and Event Wish schedules, it's fairly easy to predict when she'll arrive in Genshin Impact. Developer miHoYo updates the RPG with new Versions every six weeks, and new Banners almost always arrive about halfway through whatever Version the game is on.
Ayaka's Banner in Genshin Impact arrived on July 21, which means Yoimiya should be added to the game three weeks later. Based on this typical schedule, that means Yoimiya's Banner release date is August 11, 2021. However, a player's region and time zone may affect when the update goes live. This means fans only have a little over a week left until Yoimiya should be arriving.
Even though miHoYo hasn't officially announced when Yoimiya's Banner will be going live, this seems like the most likely date. Sayu will also be appearing as a part of this Event Wish, offering fans another new playable character to try to acquire in Genshin Impact Version 2.0. However, since miHoYo has also teased Version 2.1 characters already, some players may decide to save their Primogems for now and wait until future Banners appear in-game instead.

This article contains spoilers for S.W.O.R.D. #7.
The X-Men have unwittingly unleashed Marvel's Last Annihilation - providing an opening for Dormammu to invade their dimension in force. The rise of Krakoa can only be described as the Golden Age of Mutantkind. Heroes and villains alike have been welcomed to the living island's shores, where they have been invited to be part of a new civilization. Mutants have already learned how to use their powers in synergy, conquering death and terraforming Mars.
Most impressive of all, in a feat they're still concealing from the universe, the X-Men have conquered creation itself. They've learned to synergize mutant powers in order to access the heart of the Multiverse, a realm called the "mysterium tremendum," the "elemental cosmic heart," the "white-hot room of secret fire," and the "excelso prae omnibus aliis." There, they have taken a new metal they call mysterium, a substance better than adamantium or vibranium, which has dazzled galactic powers with its properties and has even become a new galactic currency by default.
Related: The X-Men Finally Pick a Villain Perfect for Their MCU Debut
There's just one problem; the X-Men have absolutely no idea what they're doing. It seems they're not the first people to visit the mysterium tremendum; it was discovered by Doctor Doom, but he was wary of meddling with it. "Be careful," Doctor Doom cautions Storm in Al Ewing and Stefano Caselli's S.W.O.R.D. #7. "You are dabblers -- and in this arena, at this scale, the unintended consequences of dabbling can be severe. The wrong symbol or metaphor can destroy you. You have turned the gold the alchemists sought into common coin -- shackled the sublime to the material world. And thus... you have altered the balance of things." In Doom's view, the X-Men have opened a window of opportunity for forces beyond their ken, and he senses that something is coming.
Doctor Doom is right. The X-Men are meddling with forces they cannot possibly understand, and they have no way of knowing the consequences. In their naivete, in their pride, the X-Men believed they could steal fire from the gods without consequence - and they are wrong. They have created an imbalance in the universe that the Dread Dormammu has used to launch a full-scale invasion on this plane of reality. Worse still, though the X-Men may be supremely confident in their ability to put matters right, they are not the ones who will pay the price; already Mindless Ones are invading countless worlds across the galaxy, as Dormammu attempts to extend his reign and rule. Already untold millions will have died.
Doctor Doom offers to tell the X-Men what he knows of mysterium. But Storm, representing the mutant race, arrogantly dismisses his offer, refusing to allow herself to be in Doom's debt. It is likely she will have cause to regret her impulsive decision because Dormammu's forces will gain an even stronger beachhead on this plane of existence in the time it takes the X-Men to learn what Doom already knew.

Fans of Avatar: The Last Airbender or its sequel series Avatar: The Legend Of Korra may be eager to find tabletop RPGs that have a similar theme and tone. These series of tabletop games have Asian mythology-inspired fantasy settings, character creation systems themed around the elements, and narrative rules for telling stories about teenage heroes who travel the world and get into trouble.
Both Avatar animated series were seminal works for their time, presenting settings and characters themed around Chinese, Japanese, Inuit, and Tibetan culture. They told fun stories about kids going on adventures while growing up, and excited viewers with well-animated battles between "Benders" - who used martial arts forms to manipulate the elements of Water, Earth, Fire, and Air.

Similar elements are present in many tabletop RPGs. The following TTRPGs each, in their own way, capture these key aspects of the Avatar: The Last Airbender franchise – the non-European fantasy setting, the elemental magic systems, the martial arts battles, and the stories about teen adventures seeking maturity.
Tabletop gamers who want to play an RPG styled after the Avatar series should definitively check out the Quickstart for Avatar Legends: The Roleplaying Game, an official adaptation currently available for download. This RPG, made using the Powered By The Apocalypse system, lets players retell stories in both the wuxia/steampunk fantasy setting of The Last Airbender and the Roaring Twenties dieselpunk fantasy setting of The Legend of Korra. Every character Playbook gives players the ability to unlock specific Bending Styles or weapon and tech proficiencies; furthermore, the tension between a character's conflicting ideals is represented by a Balance mechanic.
The Legend Of The Five Rings Roleplaying Game, a fantasy RPG themed around Asian mythology and Japanese historical dramas, puts players in the shoes of samurai, sages, courtiers, generals, shinobi, priests, and spellcasters from the Animal-themed clans of Rokugan, divided by political conflicts and united in their struggle to defend their land from the impure monsters and sorcerers of the corrupting Shadowlands. In the latest edition published by Fantasy Flight Games, attributes for Legend Of The Five Rings characters are themed around the five classical Japanese elements of Air, Earth, Fire, Void, and Water, reflecting both a PC's skills and their temperaments. Honor and Glory are character qualities with great influence over social conflict in Legend Of The Five Rings, determining whether characters can win the loyalty and trust of their peers or their rejection and scorn.
Do: Pilgrims Of The Flying Temple is a dice-less kid-friendly roleplaying game published by Evil Hat Productions, and is thematically inspired by Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Little Prince, Kino's Journey, and other stories about kids going on fantastical journeys across the world. Along the way, they help strangers with their problems and also get into trouble. In a world of clouds, floating islands, and endless skies, young novitiates from the Flying Temple at the center of the universe are sent on missions to respond to the letters of people asking for help.
Hearts Of Wulin, another "Powered By The Apocalypse" RPG published by The Gauntlet tabletop gaming website, is a narrative RPG system for re-creating the gravity-defying martial arts battles, forbidden romances, and quandaries of loyalty iconic to the Chinese Wuxia genre of literature. Unlike the Greek and Japanese-influenced elements of Avatar: The Last Airbender, the character attributes on the Playbooks for Hearts Of Wulin are based on the Chinese elements of Earth, Wood, Fire, Water, and Metal. Mechanical features called "Entanglements" simulate the tempestuous relationships between sworn friends, enemies, and lovers in Wuxia fiction.

The vast tracts of Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are littered with Korok Seeds, collectibles for completing puzzles and getting into hard-to-reach places like mountaintops. Giving Korok Seeds to the large, maraca shaking, dancing Korok named Hestu will reward the player with more slots to carry swords, shields, and bows. There is an absurd amount of Korok Seeds in Breath of the Wild - 900 in total, but its not really worth it to get all of them.
In order to max out Link's inventory capacity, only 441 need to be collected. A very sizable amount will be found through the exploration required to complete the game, but getting to 441 will require some searching. Getting all 900 Korok Seeds in Breath of the Wild is a whole other story, though, either requiring players to use a Korok Seed guide and map, or spend dozens of hours combing the landscape.
Related: Zelda: Breath Of The Wild's Bomb Arrow Replaces the Master Sword
Getting all 900 Korok Seeds, though, is nearly pointless. Finding every Korok in Breath of the Wild and bringing the Seeds back to Hestu will award Link with an item called Hestu's Gift, which resembles a golden pile of feces. In fact that's exactly what it is, according to an IGN interview with game director Hidemaro Fujibayashi. The developer said, "We just kind of thought it would be funny to make that a big joke," when asked about rewarding players with a golden poop after ignoring Ganon in Breath of the Wild and collecting all 900 Korok Seeds. Although that's a hilariously unexpected rationale, it may not be the whole truth, since it appears Hestu's Gift has a connection with Japanese culture.
The only practical use for Hestu's Gift in Breath of the Wild is to make the giant Korok perform his signature dance on command, but Hestu may have given it to Link as a good luck charm. According to the Japan Times, a small, golden pile of poop is known as a "kin no unko," and is often seen as a token of good luck. The little golden trinkets became popular in the early 2000s, when they were bought as funny souvenirs designed to lighten the mood and bring luck amidst an economic depression, but the concept may be much older.
The idea behind a golden pile of feces bringing good luck comes from a pun involving the spoken Japanese language. The Japan Times notes, "the Japanese word for poop (unko) starts with the same “oon” sound as a completely unrelated word that means 'luck.'" The article goes on to mention that puns of this nature are pretty common in traditional Japanese storytelling, and that similar word play was often used in ancient religious contexts because it would make learning and remembering easier.
Hestu's Gift may be virtually useless in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but it actually has some very nice sentiment. The item's description calls it "a gift of friendship," which is ultimately a nice gesture, even if a little, poop-shaped trinket isn't much of a reward for collecting all 900 Korok Seeds. The developers behind Breath of the Wild may have made the reward for an arduous task more or less a joke, but at least it's in spirit with its Japanese cultural inspiration.

A wealthy, but stingy father was trying to put a birthday party together for his 18 y/o daughter.
He wanted the party to be extravagant, but wanted to spend as little money as possible. He had finished all of the other decorations, and he was left to work on the cake.
"Why not get it ordered from an upscale bakery?" his wife said.
So the father visited a ton of different bakeries and did research, but found the prices to be too high.
My daughter is inviting all of her friends, and I'll look bad if I don't put together a good cake, he thought. Then, he stumbled upon a shop that opened once a year to provide free cake to its customers.

He was met by a Buddhist monk chanting and lighting incense.

"Of course," the monk replied, "just draw a picture of the cake you would like on the notepad on the desk."
The father thought this to be weird, but wanting to save as much money as possible, he gave him the address and told him to come in the backdoor, just in case the cake was bad.
The day of the party arrived and the monk visited the house with the most extravagant cake the family had ever seen. All of the guests were in awe, and whispered to each other about how much the cake could have cost.
The monk became the guest of honor and at the end of the party, the father approached the monk and asked,
"Why do you do this for free? You should take money for your services!"
The monk smiled and said, "I do this for free because a cake day is the best way to earn karma."
