The first trailer for Castlevania season 2 is now online. After spending years stuck in development hell, moving between being a movie and TV show, the animated Castlevania series - based primarily on Konami's 1989 video game Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse - debuted on Netflix and quickly became one of the highest-rated video game adaptations of all-time, including movie adaptations.
Starring Richard Armitage as Richard Belmont, James Callis as Alucard, Graham McTavish as Dracula, and more, Netflix's Castlevania is perhaps the best narrative retelling of the Castlevania video games in the franchise's 32-year history. After season 1 concluded last year, fans have been anxiously awaiting new content - and that will finally come later this year when season 2 releases in October. But before that, audiences can get their first real look at Castlevania season 2 by checking out the first trailer.
