On Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Tristan Thompson is still reportedly trying to date Khloe Kardashian after cheating on her, resulting in their split. While Kardashian isn't holding any grudges, she just isn't feeling the basketball star and is strictly devoted to their daughter, True.
Kardashian chose to part ways with Thompson after not one, but two, highly publicized cheating scandals. Although rumors floated around the internet about his philandering, it didn't become big news until Thompson was spotted with an Instagram model within days of Kardashian going into labor. The second accusation of cheating was with Kylie Jenner's best friend, Jordyn Woods. Kardashian became aware of the hookup between her beau and her family friend. She promptly parted ways with Thompson but promised to remain amicable with him for the sake of their one-year-old daughter, True Thompson. And so far to date, they've managed to successfully co-parent.
Despite the mostly favorable comments Kardashian received in the months following the overdosing scandal involving her ex-husband Lamar Odom, some fans had a harder time getting on board the sympathy train this time around. There were accusations that Kardashian brought the cheating on herself, because her relationship with Thompson began while his first baby mama, Jordan Craig, was six months pregnant. Kardashian has vehemently denied coming between the couple. Despite her frustrations with Thompson's roving ways, she's taking the high road. She said on Jay Shetty's On Purpose podcast (via People), "I don’t think he’s a bad person; I think we all make mistakes, we are humans." She continued, "But it’s only going to hurt me if I’m holding onto this anger and playing this victim role. I don’t believe in being a victim."
Thompson has kept his love life out of the public eye since his public shaming of Kardashian. Given his penchant for variety, it's somewhat surprising that he would work so diligently to win her back. Recently on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, she was vocal about her disdain for her ex's behavior, as well as her complete disinterest in renewing her relationship with him. However, Thompson may use the upcoming holidays as a means in which to pull her back into his orbit. Since their split, he not only attempted to kiss her, he has also gifted her with balloons, flowers, and even a massive pink diamond ring ... anything to make an impression and show her that he cares. If the couple does reconcile in the future, there's still no guarantee that previous transgressions won't repeat themselves in the union.
Now that Khloé has her daughter to keep in mind and has to set an example for her for how to behave in relationships. Though fans know she's playing cool, calm, and collected in the face of romantic disappointment in order to have a better home life for True, it leaves the audience wondering if she were to be blunter about not wanting to be with Tristan, would it stop Tristan from trying to get her back. Regardless, she's made it clear her number one priority is her daughter, and everything else is just extra. However, if anyone deserves a happy ending - it's Khloé.
