Baby Yoda may have finally found a proud papa in the form of Mando after fifty years of being alone (or maybe he wasn't alone, hopefully The Mandalorian will illuminate more of baby Yoda's life pre-Mando in season 2). And while he's a newb at being someone's son, he's been doing a bang up job of it so far.
So with that in mind, here are 10 hilarious baby Yoda memes that are inspired by parent-child relationships. Normal human kids might not have Force powers or be on the run from assassins, but everyone can still relate to these particular memes.
10 Never Grow Up
The ultimate goal of any parent is to get their child from babyhood to adulthood relatively unscathed, and to ensure that they can become functional members of society once they've left the nest.
However, it seems pretty natural for kids to suddenly become children around their parents again, even when they're fully grown. Or at the very least, adult children have no qualms about playing baby when it comes to forking over the cash in any parent-child situations.
9 Sweet Tooth
There must be some fundamental part of everyone's brain who hears their parents deny whatever it is they desire that immediately, instinctively wants to rebel against those commands even more after hearing it.
Candy is tough for anyone to resist, not to mention a child, and as soon as mom or dad makes it explicitly clear that those sweet treats are forbidden it pretty much starts the countdown clock to when any kid is going to break that rule.
8 Feeling Woozy
Maybe it's just that throwing up as a kid is more memorable, but why does it seem like puking is such a more common phenomenon when you're younger? Is it that the digestive system is still just developing? Is it that kids are building up their tolerance for different kinds of food?
But whatever it is, it clearly gives parents all across the world a lot of grief and cleaning up to do.
7 The Blue Steel
It's understandable that all parents want to document the seemingly exponential growth of their offspring, but it's some kind of cosmic joke that children are so astoundingly unskilled at actually posing for a good picture.
It's hard enough to figure out your angles when you're an adult, so expecting any kid to look like anything more than some possessed demon child out of the latest Conjuring film is asking more than most children can give.
6 Fight Night
Most people wouldn't consider themselves lucky for having divorced parents, but it's memes like this that should remind all children of divorce to count their blessings where they can find them.
If the children who have walked in on mommy and daddy's wrestling match are lucky, they just forgot whatever Eldritch horrors have been visited upon their baby eyeballs, but if not then the nightly WWE performances have probably scarred them for life.
5 Awkward Arguments
Everyone experiences road rage at one time or another, but an exceptionally awkward kind of anger can occur between two people who are currently occupying the same vehicle.
Most kids remember at least one time when their parents were having a heated exchange while driving the car, but at least most children were too young to realize how dangerous it is to have two people fighting while on the road.
4 Two Faced
Everyone presents certain sides of themselves to different people, and honestly it would be a bad reflection of a friendship if people didn't feel comfortable showing their true, possibly demonic faces to the people who are closest to them.
But if anything this just goes to show how dumb kids can be, even if they think they're being slick. Most children play the angel in front of the adults around them, but most adults aren't outsmarted by a bunch of grade schoolers and know exactly what kind of shady stuff they're up to.
3 Sharing Is Caring
Most kids can't ever do enough to truly pay their parents back for raising them, but sharing the gift of baby Yoda is a good way to start.
The Mandalorian is a television series that has caught on with people from all backgrounds and of any age, but if anyone's mom or dad hasn't been blessed by our lord and savior baby Yoda, it's time to rectify that post haste.
2 The Gift Of Giving
Oh, the circle of life.
Children are born. They become old enough to make their parents gifts made of glitter, construction paper, and Elmer's glue. They grow even older, and then look back on their childhood arts and crafts and cringe. Then they become parents themselves, and realize how adorable and priceless all of those shoddily made Christmas gifts really are.
1 Santa's Surprises
Certainly not every dad is like this, but enough of them are, and those that are deserve to be shamed for their slacker behavior when it comes to giving their kids Christmas gifts.
Granted, most dads who let moms do all the shopping are hapless enough that most kids wouldn't even want the gifts that they would buy, but they deserve to be shamed for being so lackadaisical about gift giving.
