Game Of Thrones: 10 Amazing Jon Snow Cosplays That Look Just Like Him

Game of Thrones introduces Jon Snow as the bastard son of Lord Eddard Stark and an unnamed mother. Jon is played by the actor Kit Harington, first seen in "Winter Is Coming." Jon stood with Robb Stark, wearing the same clothes, with the only noticeable thing different being Jon's hair.

The evolution of Jon Snow as a character is deeply rooted and explained through his clothes and hair. To mark these changes, here are ten of the most impressive cosplays to honor the White Wolf.

10 The Wildlings Call Us The Crows

In Season 2, Jon Snow found himself besotted with a wildling girl. This cosplay is from the time when Jon was torn between love and duty. At Castle Black Jon dressed in all black — leather and cape included. The cosplay is reminiscent of the time when Jon was a member of the scouts led by Qhorin Halfhand. At the time, Jon found himself laced in a black feather cape.

9 The Prince That Was Promised

Chances are the cosplayer may be a long lost brother of Jon Snow. It's incredible how the cosplay manages to take care of the location, besides the man above twinning with Jon. The location is Dragonstone. Jon Snow has sailed to meet Queen Daenerys. The cosplayer wears the same black tunic, armor breastplate, gloves as Jon did when he arrived on the shore of the castle. Special mention must be made of Jon's beard and neatly done man bun in the cosplay above.

8 Scour Their Records For Any Mention Of Dragonglass

Soon after becoming The King in the North, Jon told Northerner Lords how important Dragonglass was for them. Hence, Jon's Longclaw is conspicuous from its absence in the cosplay. The cosplay combines the time Jon fought opposite Ramsay Bolton and the time Jon arrived in Dragonstone to meet Daenerys.

The cosplayer specifically states he's holding a dagger made out of dragonglass. Coming back to Jon's costume, he's abandoned his cape since he is to go into battle. It's the same vest Jon wore in Battle of the Bastards.

7 Do You Think I Am A Liar Or A Madman?

The only thing missing in the cosplay is Ser Davos Seaworth. For it is an exact redo of the moment Jon arrived in Dragonstone. He was escorted to the throne room at Dragonstone. Since Jon still holds the Longclaw, it is only a matter of time before Missandei asks him to hand over his weapon.

This is by far Jon's most polished look. The black tunic skirt, brown pants, high boots, and the man bun look splendid.

6 The King In The North

This cosplay takes care of every little detail--the Wolf badge, Jeor Mormont's Longclaw and the IKEA rug of a cape. The leather gloves and the feathery cape give away the impression that Jon survived in hard winters of the North. By the time Jon was hailed as King in the North, winter had arrived. He'd won Battle of the Bastards.

And now, he had pardoned Ned Umber and Alys Karstark, united the North to fight against the greater threat.

5 The Man Who Passes The Sentence Should Swing The Sword

In the cosplay, it looks like Jon is having a moment in the Godswood. He has addressed the lords and ladies of the North, pardoned the younger generations of Karstarks and Umbers. He has united the wildlings with the Northern houses so together they may face the common enemy.

The cosplay is from the time when Tyrion Lannister sent a raven North summoning Jon Snow to meet with Daenerys and bend the knee. Jon accepted because the North needed dragonglass. The cosplayer has taken care of the rugged cape with cross leather straps at the front, Longclaw, the man bun, and leather gloves.

4 We Don't Have Time For All This

This cosplay is a homage to the time Jon Snow arrived in Winterfell with Queen Daenerys. He wears the carpet rug of a cape with cross straps at the front. Underneath, his costume is the exact representation of Jon's costumes from the time the dead marched south.

In the cosplay, Jon may very well have shoved that sword into every Northerner who underestimated the dead.

3 Bend The Knee

"I respect what you did, wish you hadn't done it. But I respect it." Jon bends the knee to Daenerys in "Beyond the Wall." He could only do it symbolically at the time.

The cosplayer looks exactly like Snow from that angle in the picture. He wears his worn-out Northern costume. Jon ol' brown tunic skirt, leather boots are on fleek. The cosplay stands out for the artist pretending to be Jon. His full beard and man bun are a tribute to Jon. The Longclaw looks magnificent in his hands.

2 Winter Is Here

In this cosplay, Jon Snow is somewhere in the North, in the midst of winter. He brought home the girl — Daenerys Targaryen. Since the Northerners are displaying open hostility to her for her role in the way to come, Snow looks for a solution.

Jon is back from Dragonstone, hence the cape in the picture. It is pertinent to mention Jon Snow's cape is an ode to Ned Stark. Snow is the cosplay above echoes Ned Stark from Season 1. Jon doesn't only share his Uncle Ned Stark's style of clothing and hairdo. He also shares his virtues — honesty, and loyalty.

1 The One That Could Have Been

And of course, what's a Jon Snow post without a tragedy? The cosplayer above shows Snow with Ghost and his Free Folk girl, Ygritte.

Snow is living the life of a ranger beyond the wall. Ghost accompanies him. Ygritte has survived from the attack on Castle Black. This cosplay would require alterations in several plots since "The Watchers on the Wall." It hints at a peace treaty between the Wildlings and the Crows. Something achieved in the later part of the show.
