Angel Characters Sorted Into Their Game Of Thrones Houses

The world of Game of Thrones is one that operates on the extreme ends of the good vs. evil spectrum. It's a high fantasy wonderland that explores the goodness and evil within the supernatural as well as within the humans that have to survive that supernatural. And in a way, that makes it somewhat similar to the classic genre series Angel.

Angel is a show that takes place in the real world, but that real world also happens to include demons, vampires, and heroes that fight against them. It features a diverse cast of characters with strong personalities, but where would those characters fit into GoT?

10 Harmony Kendall - House Frey

In fairness to Harmony, she may be a vampire, but she's not necessarily evil. Certainly not Angelus-level evil, anyway.

But Harm is pretty shallow and weak, and although she never does things with much specific malicious intent, she will sell out anyone or anything in order to get what she wants. She's also not very powerful or respected within her community. Harmony would fit right in to House Frey.

9 Connor Angel - House Martell

Connor disappeared from the worldly dimension when he was just a baby, and when he came back, he really came in hot. Although he didn't even know Angel, all that he wanted was revenge against him for Angelus' dastardly deeds.

He was incredibly strong and skillful too, but ultimately was outmatched by Angel and his cohorts. Connor's thirst for revenge and justice, and his inability to actually get, it makes him a prime candidate for House Martell.

8 Doyle - House Arryn

Although Robin Arryn isn't a very strong heir to the House of Arryn, it's hard to overlook the impact that his father Jon Arryn had on Game of Thrones.

He barely even appeared on the show, but his sense of honor and righteousness literally changed the face of Westeros, and the impact that his sacrifices had on the characters who lived on are incalculable. So then, Doyle is really a good match for House Arryn.

7 Lorne - House Tully

The members of House Tully (with the notable exception of Lysa) are generally decent people who believe in doing the right thing.

However, they won't typically go out of their way to get themselves involved in wars and fighting either. They typically embrace a more live and let live approach to life, only making big moves when they feel like they have no other choice, which is why the un-aggressive Lorne would fit right in with them.

6 Spike - House Targaryen

Spike was absolutely born to be a member of House Targaryen, and not just because he has that perfect bleach blonde head of hair either.

The house words of Targaryen are "fire and blood", and there is no one else in the entire Buffyverse who enjoys aggression and destruction for it's own sake more than Spike does. He manages to enact a lot of mayhem as he is now, one could only imagine what it'd be like if he had a dragon too.

5 Charles Gunn - House Baratheon

Gunn actually never gave himself enough credit for being as unique and clever as the rest of Team Angel. But there is no denying it, his greatest strengths were as a warrior. Gunn was at his best when he was getting down and dirty, fighting the good fight with his own two hands.

So if Charles had been born into the world of Game of Thrones, he would have been born into House Baratheon.

4 Winifred Burkle - House Hightower

The Hightowers were a House that didn't even warrant a mention in the television series Game of Thrones, but in the books they are a secretive but extremely powerful house who's knowledge and understanding of the world of Westeros are next level.

They're a house who are always trying to learn more about the world and their rival houses, as well as always experimenting with ideas that most other houses can't conceive of, which would make Fred a perfect addition to the family.

3 Cordelia Chase - House Tyrell

It would be incredible to imagine what Cordelia Chase would have been like had she been raised under the tutelage of the Queen of Thorns, and it's not hard to imagine that Cordelia is a lot like what young Olenna must have been like.

Cordelia is beautiful and appears to be superficial, but she's actually incredibly savvy and strong. She would have done House Tyrell proud.

2 Wesley Wyndam-Pryce - House Lannister

Everyone who is a part of Team Angel is heroic in their own way, but Wesley has repeatedly proven himself to be the smartest and shrewdest member of the bunch.

Wesley isn't unwilling to cross a lot of moral lines in order to ensure that the endgame they need comes to pass, and honestly he is the type of man who could even give Tywin Lannister a run for his money.

1 Angel - House Stark

Of course, Angel has to be a member of House Stark. Not only is he the ultimate hero of the story, but he is a pretty quintessential Stark.

He's the strong, silent type, he expects more of himself than he does anyone else, and although he doesn't have much superficial charm, his believe in goodness and willingness to fight for it earns him a lot of loyalty from everyone he meets.
