As fans see 90 Day Fiancé’s Julia Trubkina slowly settling down at Brandon Gibbs’ farm, they’re also noticing her getting used to a simpler life. However, even if Julia does become the ideal daughter-in-law to Ron and Betty Gibbs, she certainly hasn't left her Russian life behind. The sassy 90 Day Fiancé star recently shared a throwback pic from her childhood days while also trashing rumors of plastic surgery by proving she looks exactly like her mom.
A chance encounter involving a long-distance video call led 26-year-old Julia to virtually meet 27-year-old Brandon from Virginia. On the same night, Brandon decided to make Julia his wife, a feat he halfway achieved when he proposed to her in Iceland within weeks of meeting. But life in America wasn’t going to be easy for Julia, as she found out upon meeting Brandon’s parents and 90 Day Fiance season eight villains Ron and Betty. The interfering old couple was not only opposed to Brandon and Julia sharing a room, but they also were awkwardly involved in her birth control plan. Even worse, the Gibbs family made Julia work on the Hummingbird Acres Farm, which came as a shock to the go-go dancer. After all, 90 Day Fiancé fans had seen the lifestyle Julia led in Russia, with pictures that showed her lifting weights and videos which had her flaunting her impressive karaoke skills.
“I get a lot of questions about my family,” shared 90 Day Fiancé star Julia, as she posted her “favorite photo” of her family on Instagram. In the throwback 90s post, a tiny Julia can be seen sitting on her father’s lap while her mother sits alongside her brother. Along with the post, TLC’s Julia also took to her IG stories to post a few more then-and-now pictures of herself with her mom and dad while growing up in Russia. The comments on Julia’s post are also an interesting mix, with co-stars such as 90 Day Fiancé’s Varya writing that she had the same carpet in her living room in Russia and fans saying, “You look so much like your mom.” While some fans think Brandon's lover Julia hasn’t changed one bit, many seem to be surprised by how much she’s a “carbon copy” of her mother. Using the same family resemblance to her advantage, the 90 Day Fiancé celeb Julia also blasted her critics on her IG story by writing, “I think questions about botox, operations are gone.” Brandon’s future wifey continued, “I have very beautiful parents” and confirmed that she has “never had an operation” to change her appearance.
With the rising number of 90 Day Fiancé stars opting for plastic surgery, even the slightest signs of a makeover in a cast member makes fans ask if they’ve gone under the knife.
