Current The Bachelor contestant Victoria Larson, aka "the queen," shared a clip of unseen footage from the Monday, January 11 episode. The footage somewhat backs up her claim that her fight with Marylynn Sienna wasn't entirely one-sided.
This season of the popular dating reality series stars Bachelor Nation newbie Matt James. Although he has several ties to the show and even almost appeared on this past season of The Bachelorette, this is Matt's first on-camera appearance on the franchise. Like every season of the show, there is always drama brewing between the contestants. This year, the main feud (so far) focuses on Victoria and Marylynn. The two women's fight escalated so far that Victoria brought her concerns to Matt, who seemed genuinely bothered by her words, despite his strong connection with Marylynn. Fans are waiting until next week's rose ceremony to see if Victoria's interference causes Matt to give Marylynn the boot.
Now, new footage posted by the Instagram account @bachelornation.scoop shows a different side of Victoria and Marylynn's feud. The clip showed Victoria finding her luggage outside her shared hotel room with Marylynn after the two found themselves in a heated argument. After the exchange, Victoria walked away and Marylynn stayed to chat with the other ladies. Marylynn was confused about their argument and revealed she was afraid to now share a room with Victoria. “I feel like anytime I talk or do anything, I’m, like, shut down and I feel not happy, honestly," Victoria said after the argument. Upon returning to her room to find her bags in the hall, Victoria said in the clip, "Marylynn threw my bags out?” She was then heard mumbling under her breath, "So rude", as she gathered her luggage.
On Monday night's episode, viewers saw Victoria and Marylynn go head-to-head, but were not shown the second part of the clip, where Victoria claimed Marylynn threw her bags out. “You were rude to me earlier. … You said, ‘I want to pick your brain and understand you and see why you act the way you do,’” Victoria told Marylynn. “I said I would like to get to know each other so that we can better understand each other and get to know each other,” Marylynn quipped back. After their argument ended, cameras cut to Victoria bringing her items out to the lobby of the hotel, where she slept for the rest of the night. "Marylynn, she’s psychologically disturbed, literally, like I’ll sleep on the couch rather than share a room with Marylynn," she revealed to the cameras during a confessional. "I don’t even care...I literally am a queen and I can’t wait for Matt to send her home so I have my own room as a queen should.”
Victoria later faced some backlash for her behavior. But she seems unbothered by what fans have been saying about her, while Marylynn has been encouraging fans to be "kind" to her and Victoria. Will the Victoria vs. Marylynn feud continue until the final rose ceremony? Fans will have to wait and see as Matt begins developing feelings for the women on the show.
The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8 pm EST on ABC.
