Many fans in Bachelor Nation think that The Bachelor producers forced Matt James to keep "Queen" Victoria Larson around for a few more episodes. Season 25 of The Bachelor is now well underway on ABC, and the fans are already paying close attention to the women competing for Matt James' love on the show. Some of the ladies appeared to be frontrunners from their very first moments on TV, while others were clearly cast to entertain the viewers at home who like watching a little bit of drama and chaos from reality TV.
For now, it is still too early to tell which girls will get to The Bachelor finale, and which ladies will get eliminated before getting to the end. With that said, this has never stopped the Bachelor Nation fandom from making their assumptions and voicing out their reactions on social media. At the season 25 premiere, a few contestants stood out to most viewers: Abigail, who received Matt's first impression rose; Katie, who swung around a purple vibrator all night; Kit, an NYC socialite with a famous mother; and Victoria, who listed "Queen" as her job title.
But the fans are not entirely convinced that Matt James decided by himself to give "Queen" Victoria Larson a rose on The Bachelor. In fact, a significant portion of Bachelor Nation seems to think that the show's producers asked Matt to keep her around for entertainment value, at least for a few more episodes. This would obviously not be anything new to The Bachelor, or even to reality TV shows in general. Nonetheless, some fans are very thrown off by the fact that some women who seemed to have great intentions were sent home before a contestant that is seemingly just trying to get airtime and create drama on the show. Below are a few tweets from the fans in reaction to Victoria getting Matt's final rose during the premiere.
At least so far, it's not looking like Queen Victoria will go down as a Bachelor Nation fan-favorite once everything is said and done. With that said, it's always possible that she was just nervous on night one and presented a heightened version of herself that won't stick around during the rest of the season. That's not what the previews have shown so far, but maybe it's all a misdirect that doesn't turn out to be true.
The fans will keep tuning in to watch Matt James falling in love. And along the way, we will all find out what happens to Victoria Larson on the show.
The Bachelor season 25 airs Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on ABC.
