After defending herself on social media, Whitney Rose is making it clear that she is no longer associated with Sara MacArthur Pierce. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star was forced to speak out over the weekend after she was called out for being friends with Sara, a proud supporter and attendee of the attack on the U.S. Capitol last week.
Whitney and Jen Shah were two full-time housewives who took to their Instagram to release statements against Sara after she posted about making the trip to the Capitol for the coup. Whitney, being the one who appeared in a scene with Sara in last week's episode, expressed how crushed she was by the shocking turn of events. "I am devastated by the events that took place at the Capitol on Wednesday," she said before denying claims that she was also in attendance. "I was not there and DO NOT support it. Humanity needs more love and kindness right now. Let's stop the hate." Sara has since turned her profile to private, but fan pages have already shared images identifying her face at the coup. She is noted for having "patriot" in her Instagram bio. Now, Whitney is shutting down any claims of still being friends with Sara.
After Whitney was called out for her associations with Sara, Jen Shah came to Whitney’s defense in an Instagram Story post captured by the Queens of Bravo. “I’d like to comment on this as well,” Jen wrote. “I recently had a conversation with Whitney Rose about some difficult topics regarding systematic racism, colorism, white privilege, etc. I can tell you from my personal conversation with her that she in no way supports the protests or violence that happened at our nation’s capitol.” Fans have calling out Whitney for her past spotting at the Sturgis motorcycle rally and super spreader event where she was seen partying with Sara without a face mask. Bravo fans have accused her of possibly being a MAGA housewife.
But, according to Jen, Whitney is a true ally against hate and social inequality. The Muslim housewife noted that Whitney is “keeping it real.” She ended by acknowledging how Whitney wants to be a part of the anti-coup movement. “She’s one of very few people that have proactively reached out to me after the protests asking to be an ally and part of the change we so desperately need right now in our country,” Jen added. It looks like the two have been doing their own damage control after Sara's attendance at the coup rattled fans. She had shared multiple photos and videos from the raid on social media before going private.
Multiple Bravo fan pages posted images of Sara at the event where she can be seen smiling with a bunch of Trump protestors right before the raid on the building took place. She wore a beanie with an American flag while traveling with a group of women from SLC to DC. It's said that she was supposed to be a full-time housewife but was moved to a friend role over her conservative views.
