Star Wars: Squadrons - How to Earn Glory (The Easy Way)

The in-game currency is arguably as important as the protagonist in most modern video games. Players certainly know the currency grind all too well, whether their hunting for Rupees in Legend of Zelda or Pesetas in Resident Evil 4. Similarly, Star Wars: Squadrons’ in-game purchasing power comes in the forms of Glory and Requisition.

Star Wars: Squadrons will see players spending their in-game currency on mostly cosmetic upgrades. While Requisition is meant for upgrading the actual components of one’s ship, Glory will be used to make the ship (and Pilot) shine with personal flair. There is no competitive edge gained from spending Glory. The currency is simply there to purchase outfits, paint jobs, and bobbleheads. This guide will focus on how players can best grind for Glory in Star Wars: Squadrons.

Glory is obtained far more frequently than Requisition. However, Glory will be spent in much larger chunks should players choose to purchase rarer gear. Glory can be earned in the following ways:

Daily Challenges - Every day, Star Wars: Squadrons will update their daily challenges with different objectives for players to complete. This has become a popular mechanic in most modern video games as it allows for a fresh way to play every 24 hours. These challenges will often have simple requirements like ‘Destroy 5 Tie Interceptors’. Completing them will award players with Glory.

Fleet Battle Rank - This works similarly to the Battlepass in Call of Duty. Players can level up their fleet rank through the 8 week period I order to earn Glory and other cosmetic items. It is tied into the Operation Challenges. After the 8 week period, a new Operation or ‘Season’ will begin, and the players Fleet Rank will be reset.

Leveling Up - Players can also earn Glory by simply leveling up in Star Wars: Squadrons. They will also earn a small amount of Requisition each time they gain a level.

By far, the easiest way to grind for Glory is to focus on the daily challenges. Players should make sure to complete those before focusing on the elongated Operation Challenges. They’ll often find they’ve made some progress towards the Operations by just playing the game naturally. Completing the challenges will also aid players in leveling up and upgrading their ship. A better ship means an easier time hunting for Tie Interceptors (or whatever the daily challenge might be).
