Star Wars: Squadrons - How to Earn Requisition (The Easy Way)

Star Wars: Squadrons maintains a currency system that continues to pop up in Star Wars lore from time to time. For example, Requisition Slips made an appearance in Star Wars: Uprising, a short-lived mobile game released back in 2015. Requisition is imperative to Star Wars: Squadrons if players plan on upgrading their ships (which they absolutely should).

Star Wars: Squadrons features two different forms of in-game currency. Requisition is used for upgrading a starfighter’s capabilities. These upgrades will give players a competitive edge should they be tailored to the player's personal playstyle. On the other hand is Glory, which is used for purchasing cosmetic pieces for one’s Pilot and Ship. While these cosmetic pieces offer no such competitive edge, they certainly allow players to show off some in-game flair. This guide will focus on how players can best grind for Requisition in Star Wars: Squadrons.

There are many different ways to earn many different things in Star Wars: Squadrons. Most of the items players will unlock are purely cosmetic, hence lots of opportunities to earn Glory. However, players will need Requisition in order to purchase different upgrades for their Starfighters. Those upgrades will come in handy in both the single-player campaign and multiplayer.

Requisition is earned in one simple fashion… leveling up. Remember, this is different than the Fleet Battle Rank. Leveling up will grant different amounts of Requisition for each level until players reach the max level of 40. Once at 40, one should have enough requisition points to fully upgrade and customize each ship in Star Wars: Squadrons. Whether they prefer nimble Interceptors or heavy-duty Bombers, the game's natural progression will allow players to unlock the upgrades they want.

Thankfully, players will earn XP through virtually every aspect of the game. Between online play and story missions, there is no shortage of ways to grind for levels. Players can take stabs at completing Daily challenges, as well as attempting the Operations cycles. Completing both will grant players lots of unique cosmetic items as well.

Star Wars: Squadrons follows a rather cut and dry blueprint for in-game unlocks. There are no secret holes players must jump through, or convoluted currency systems to keep track of. Most importantly, Star Wars: Squadrons has ZERO micro-transactions, an issue that has plagued EA games in the past. Players certainly remember the fiasco that was Battlefront II when it was released.
