While 90 Day Fiancé’s Angela Deem has been flaunting her shocking weight loss transformation, she’s also not shying away from showing off her friendship with JoJo Siva. The iconic Angela has been the face of the TLC reality show for years, all owing to her tumultuous relationship with Michael Illesanmi. But these days, it's 90 Day Fiancé star Angela’s relationship with another reality TV star JoJo that’s making headlines. How exactly is the Hazelhurst meemaw related to JoJo and her mom Jessalynn?
For those who don’t know yet, 90 Day Fiancé wasn’t Angela’s first stint with reality TV. Before heading to Nigeria to meet her online lover Michael, the 54-year-old had made explosive appearances on Trisha and Maury. While Angela may not have been the star of these shows, it was her relationship with daughter Scottie, who controversially, later went to prison, that brought her into the limelight. But it was Angela’s entry into the 90 Day Fiancé franchise that brought her both fame and notoriety for her fiery fights with then-boyfriend Michael. Now, happily married to Michael who waits for his spousal visa to arrive, Angela has supposedly undergone a life-threatening weight loss surgery to feature on a new 90 Day Fiancé spin-off. And interestingly enough, Angela’s love for both JoJo and her mother Jessalynn has been grabbing eyeballs from Instagram, apart from her new slimmed-down look.
The 90 Day Fiancé star Angela had announced her plan of getting bariatric surgery to lose weight on the recent 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Tell-All. But even as Angela’s co-star and plastic surgery queen Larissa advised her against it, the Georgia granny did debut her new slim avatar during her granddaughter’s birthday in November. Angela wrote on Instagram how all her grandbabies were having a “JoJo bow party,” with a colorful JoJo Siwa-themed cake while posting a selfie with six-year-old Ana. However, 90 Day Fiancé fans had heard of Angela’s love for JoJo back in August when she’d posted a video of her grandchildren dancing to the YouTuber’s 2018 hit “High Top Shoes.”
But it was a month later in September that Angela really shocked her 90 Day Fiancé followers by posting a picture of herself partying with JoJo and Jessalynn. “Loved hanging out with my Sagittarius twin,” wrote Angela, before adding “Love you all to the moon and back.” As reported by Cheat Sheet, it all began when Dance Moms star Jessalynn had revealed how obsessed she is with the TLC show on her “Success with Jess” podcast. “I love the whole 90 Day Fiancé franchise like I am a 90 Day Fiancé junkie like I love it,” Jessalyn had revealed. “I’m obsessed with all the people. I think it was for Mother’s Day, Jojo got me cameos from all thev90 Day Fiancé people — it was the best gift ever.”
While mentioning that she also likes 90 Day Fiancé’s Darcey Silva, Sumit Singh, and Jenny Slatten, Jessalyn had declared Michael and Angela as her favorites. “We love you too,” was Angela’s reply as she shared the video on her own Instagram. Soon enough Jessalynn also shared a video of a 90 Day Fiancé watch party on her Instagram feed, with Angela “eating mashed potatoes next to her and Michael on FaceTime.” Angela had excitedly commented “Yessss it was the best 90 Day watch party ever,” on the video as she continued, “Thanks to all Siwa family..I really had a blast can wait to see yall again my saggy twin.”
However, in the viral picture of Angela, with Jojo and Jessalyn, the 90 Day Fiancé star has also tagged her manager Gina Rodriguez. Could this mean that Angela’s rumored spin-off could also feature JoJo along with her mom? Or is it just a case of stars bonding over their love for reality TV?
