Fall Guys' Ninja Skin Release Date & Price Revealed | Screen Rant

After a long wait, the donors who pledged the most money to gaming with disabilities charity SpecialEffect for Fall Guys are finally getting their own official skins in the game, and streaming icon Ninja is up first. The skin, which has been in the making for some time now, is going to be in the shop starting tomorrow, and it's the first of several outfit that will be coming for each of the high-dollar donors.

Back in August, when Fall Guys was at the top of its game in terms of player counts, it held a charity event where whatever people or companies pledged the most money to SpecialEffect would be able to receive their own in-game skins. While there were some worthy competitors that all pledged high amounts, no one could top some of the best-known names on the internet – mega-popular Twitch streamer Ninja, the equally popular YouTuber Mr. Beast, Aim Lab, a game used to train players' aim for free on Steam, and G2 Esports, a famous e-sports club.

While all of these donors – who collectively raised 1 million dollars - are going to be receiving their own skins, it was recently announced on the Fall Guys Twitter page that Ninja will be the first to receive his own, starting tomorrow morning. For both the top and bottom, it will be going for five crowns, a standard amount usually reserved for the indie's premium skins. It’s not known when the next skins for the other donors will be coming, but if Ninja is being released this quickly after the post was put up on Twitter, players can probably expect to see them in the store soon enough.

Fall Guys became ridiculously popular back in August, becoming the most-viewed game on Twitch for a time. Mediatonic's runaway battle royale hit became so popular that it remains most-downloaded game on PlayStation Plus. Although Fall Guys has ceded its crown to Among Us since then, it's still a healthy multiplayer title in terms of player counts and viewership, so there are still plenty of people waiting to cosplay as their SpecialEffect heroes in-game.

Furthermore, Fall Guys has still been going strong in terms of releasing new content. Mediatonic's medieval-themed Season 2 wasn't a hit but it still kept the game fresh, and it recently came out with a wintry season 3 that's ongoing. Whether Ninja and company's skins help to set Fall Guys up to retake its multiplayer indie throne remains to be seen, but the value of the donation made to SpecialEffect to warrant them is worth much more than the dollar amount attached.
