When watching television shows and movies, fans often put themselves into the positions of the characters and imagine what their lives would be like. And, while many moments make viewers glad they don’t have to live the lives of their favorite characters, there are some scenes that look really fun. There are many parties from fictional stories, and they come in many forms. Some of these celebrations are more raucous and irreverent while others are more wholesome and upbeat.

10 Game Of Thrones: The Red Wedding
The Red Wedding from Game of Thrones is at the bottom of this list because it’s the most depressing and terrifying “party” of any on the list. While many of the other entries are events viewers would probably like to attend, no one wants to experience the Red Wedding.
While it’s supposed to be a wedding celebration for Edmure Tully and his wife, a daughter of Walder Frey, it turns into a massacre against Robb, Talisa, and Catelyn Stark. It’s one of the darkest and bloodiest parties in the media, but it’s well-known in pop culture. It's great and terrifying, and definitely powerful.
9 Superbad: House Party
There is an entire genre of movies where parties feature quite heavily. These “party” movies often have some kind of uproarious and out-of-control party as part of the plot, and Superbad definitely belongs to this category.
This story revolves around some nerdy high schoolers trying to go to house parties and get alcohol, and it’s a rather irreverent comedy. But, it contains some really well-known party scenes.
8 MCU: Avenger’s Tower Bash
Overall, fans wish there were more happy get-togethers in the world of the MCU. However, there are surprisingly few moments where the heroes really get to just relax and have a fun time. But, fans would still love the opportunity to get to hang out at Stark-turned-Avengers Tower and be around their favorite heroes like Black Widow and Captain America.
While the party turns bad when Ultron shows up, it looks rather fun at first.
7 This Is The End: Hollywood Party
The party from This Is The End is rather fascinating because it flips the raucous, youthful party genre on its head. The movie is an apocalyptic comedy, and this leads to some really memorable and hilarious moments.
While this celebration starts off as a Hollywood party filled with A-list celebs, things are turned upside down when an event similar to the Rapture happens and an earthquake also appears. There are many celeb cameos where the celebs are playing themselves, so it’s quite funny and hard to forget.
6 The Rocky Horror Picture Show
It’s hard to pick just one moment from this iconic film as it is sort of one big party off and on throughout. So, overall, fans wouldn’t mind partying with Dr. Frank n’ Furter and the fun assortment of acquaintances and victims that populate the world.
In fact, the movie is so synonymous with upbeat celebrating that there are showings of the film across the country that feature interactive singing and dancing moments.
5 Star Wars: The Ewok Celebration
While a lot of the parties on this list are filled with alcohol and more adult themes, some of them are a bit more family-friendly. There are many ways to have a party, and fans often want to participate in the more wholesome ones just as much as the sexier ones.
The Ewok celebration on Endor is one of the most notable party scenes from the Star Wars franchise, and fans would definitely like the chance to experience an otherworldly get-together. A notable mention from the franchise would be spending time at some of the cantinas featured in the movies.
4 The Wolf of Wall Street: Work Party
The Wolf of Wall Street is a movie that’s all about excess and the lifestyles of rich men who work on Wall Street, and Leonardo DiCaprio really pulls off the debauchery of the character of Jordan Belfort perfectly. Funnily enough, there’s another party scene on this list that also featured DiCaprio.
The work party featured in this movie is one of the more irreverent and upsetting parties in many ways because it’s offensive on some levels, but it does stand out in viewer’s minds. It also really encapsulates the movie as a whole.
3 Harry Potter: Hogwarts Feasts
It was difficult to pick one specific celebration moment from the Harry Potter series as there are many different ones. Fans often would like to spend Christmas or Halloween at Hogwarts or at the Burrow, and there’s something both magical and comforting about these scenes.
But, overall, fans just want the opportunity to eat a fantastic feast at Hogwarts filled with delicious food and the stunning ceiling of the Great Hall.
2 Lord Of The Rings: Bilbo Baggins' Birthday Party
Of all the party scenes in fantasy stories, this is probably the most well-known of them all. Bilbo’s birthday party, when he turns 111, kicks off the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy.
It’s a moment of excitement and lightheartedness before the darkness begins. Fans everywhere would love to spend time in the Shire eating all of the amazing food and experiencing Gandalf’s fantastic fireworks. While there are many places and scenes in the series fans would like to visit, this birthday bash is probably at the top of the list.
1 The Great Gatsby: Jay Gatsby’s Mansion Spectacle
Just like with The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, this is a party scene that existed in the pop-culture consciousness in book form before it was made into a movie. And, it’s been in the world as a symbol of the debauchery and pitfalls of the American dream for decades.
But, while the book is memorable and well-known, the scene as portrayed in the movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio really sticks out in people’s minds. It's a lavish affair that fans would love the opportunity to attend.
