Lala Kent reignited an old rumor regarding James having kissed a man. Fans of Vanderpump Rules will remember that the alleged incident happened back in 2016 with one of his close friends.
Vanderpump Rules is the much-loved spin-off that is based around Lisa Vanderpump's many restaurants. Vanderpump Rules has followed around employees of SUR, a West Hollywood restaurant owned by the fan favorite. Bravo fans were brought up to date with the cast as James Kennedy was still fired and barred from DJ-ing, Lala Kent had been sober for almost a year, Stassi Schroeder was newly engaged and the rest of the couples all brought the exact same houses in the Valley.
On Tuesday’s all-new episode of Vanderpump Rules, Lala Kent reignited a saucy rumor from 2016 about James Kennedy and his close friend, Logan hooking up. The two men were best friends in earlier seasons and season 6 showed them drinking and partying together. Logan was shown cuddling into Kennedy during Pride and trying on multiple occasions to kiss him on the lips. During the end of season 6, Logan even confessed to lying about the two having a sexual relationship to protect James. Lala had just made amends with Raquel Leviss after calling her stupid for over a year upon hearing that Kennedy attended an alcoholics anonymous meeting for the first time.
During their coffee date, the two ladies righted the world and seemed to be off to a good start. But just as fans prepared to get their hopes up, they were shot down thanks to Tom Sandoval’s birthday party, where everyone was asked to be a bit “extra.” Lala proceeded to tell Raquel that James’s friend Logan had been spreading rumors, saying he had been partying in the hills only six days earlier. Lala inserted doubt into viewers' minds, implying that James was still lying to Raquel. She claimed Logan was “a good friend” for mudding his own name to protect James. Naturally, Raquel does not believe the story and starts to talk back to Lala who quickly puts the beauty queen in her place. Lala spilled the tea saying she had been at parties where James had said “I get a blow job if I win, and you have to do this if I win” when playing drinking games. James was nowhere to be found, but Raquel wanted out of the awkward conversation and eventually sauntered away.
Viewers are looking forward to Kennedy being exposed for his continuous cheating on Raquel but are not holding out hope that Lala will repair her friendship with him. The rumor is bound to get back to James and upset him.
Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesdays at 8pm EST on Bravo.
