Fans are clamoring to know everything about Drew Scott from HGTV's Brother Vs. Brother. The real estate agent and television personality has built a career working alongside his twin, Jonathan, on numerous series, including Property Brothers and Property Brothers: At Home.
So many of us are fixated on upgrading our surroundings ever since the global pandemic has forced us to spend more time in our residences. That's what makes Brother Vs. Brother so much fun. The premise of the show pits the Scotts against each other to purchase homes within a predetermined neighborhood. With the help of a team of designers and contractors, they flip their houses to see who can resell for the highest price. Scott (whose full name is Andrew Alfred Scott) was born April 28, 1978. He's the youngest of the Scott brothers, born two years after his brother J.D. and four minutes after his twin, Jonathan. The family resided in Vancouver, British Columbia, where his mother worked as a paralegal, and his dad pursued a career as an actor and a stunt professional. Scott and his brothers had early aspirations to conquer the entertainment industry, so in 2002, they founded their independent production company, Dividian Production Group. All the while, the brothers also honed their respective skills in real estate and contracting. There were various hardships along the way, but they continued to dabble in acting classes and film production work. Scott eventually moved to Las Vegas and expanded the family's real estate business there to make a bigger profit. Meanwhile, he continued pitching real estate themed shows to various networks and production houses. Cineflix eventually put together a project with Scott and his brother Jonathan after a previous show idea failed to get off the ground. The final result was later picked up by HGTV. That program was Property Brothers.
Drew Scott's philosophy on home design is pretty succinct. He once said, "It's so important for people to have a space that they love, and that you wake up happy every morning in your house. A big part of that is what you have for your furniture, your art, your decor." That approach has helped him and his brother Jonathan not only find wonderful homes for their clients, but to help them personalize the spaces for lasting joy and comfort. HGTV is incredibly satisfied with the success and following the brothers have garnered at the network. A spokesperson once explained about the Scotts: "We know that twin brothers and HGTV fan favorites Drew and Jonathan Scott are good -looking, talented and ever-so-popular with the ladies."
Despite his sex symbol image, Drew Scott is a happily married man. He and wife Linda Phan had their destination wedding in Italy back in 2018, following a two-year engagement. The couple's ceremony and moments leading up to their nuptials were documented in a series for TLC called Drew and Linda Say I Do. He also dedicated many of his performances on season 25 of Dancing With the Stars to Phan before his untimely elimination in the finals. Aside from his multiple television appearances, Scott is an avid fan of basketball. He played the sport in both high school and college. Scott also reportedly stays in shape as a black belt in karate. He rounds out his busy schedule doing charity work in support of World Vision, which works to improve child protection in developing countries.
Drew Scott may look like the more conservative of the Scott brothers, but in actuality, he's a pretty outstanding in his own right. His work as a real estate agent is the grounding element that has made it possible for him to beautify people's homes, elevate lifestyles, and entertain the masses. Drew's stint on Dancing with the Stars later helped viewers see a different side of him. Now that Brother Vs. Brother has become another hit under his belt, the show has given Drew Scott an all-new platform to showcase his personality, demonstrate his expertise, and amuse his fans with the distinctive relationship he shares with his twin.
