10 Disney Princesses Reimagined As DC Characters | ScreenRant

Both DC Comics and Disney have been around for decades, and they became popular among millions of people, children, and adults alike. DC brought many amazing superheroes into the world, and it continues to inspire superhero fans both thanks to the comics and the live-action movie adaptations of superhero stories.

As for Disney, it reintroduced some of the most famous fairytales to whole generations of viewers. Many fans who like both DC and Disney asked themselves the following question: "What would my favorite Disney princess look like if they were a superhero?" You can find out the answer by checking out these 10 Disney Princess Reimagined as DC Characters.

10 Super Snow White

Superman keeps a lot of cool gimmicks and technical inventions in his Fortress of Solitude. So who can be absolutely certain that he also doesn't have a magical mirror in the Fortress, one that would tell him which person on Earth is the fairest of them all? Yes, it's a stretch, but it makes for an interesting scenario nonetheless.

When you put together Superman and Snow White, you'll get a stylishly looking superhero/princess who can rock even the super long red flowing cape. And the boots look awesome as well. This Super Snow (or SnowMan) is ready to take on the world, as the fan-art by MuiMushroom shows.

9 Aqua Ariel

To be honest, this fan-art by MuiMushroom shows something all DC fans, and Aquaman fans more specifically already knew - that deep down in his heart, Aquaman is actually a Disney princess. Okay, all jokes aside, Ariel and Aquaman seem like the most obvious duo.

Both of them spend a significant part of their lives underwater, but they also venture into the dry world to see more of it. Ariel could certainly handle Aquaman's iconic weapon of choice, and in case Aquaman wouldn't want to be Ariel anymore, his wife Mera could always jump in since they both have red hair already.

8 Wonder Mulan

You might not realize it at first, but as soon as you start thinking about it, it becomes obvious that Mulan and Wonder Woman have a lot in common. They both have to prove their skills to the rest of the world, which is largely dominated and controlled by men. They kick ass, are fearless and have remarkable fighting abilities.

Even before Diana became Wonder Woman, she trained as hard as possible and the same can be said for Mulan. An even better option would be to see these two women fight side by side, facing a common enemy, but this fan-art posted by Heroic Girls is the next best thing.

7 Bat Cinder

Every member of the large Bat-family is different in character, but they all have one thing in common - they're absolute badasses. This fan-art by Muimushroom is supposedly showing Cinderella as Batwoman, but Cinderella could also easily be Batgirl, so you can take your pick.

Batgirl would probably fit Cinderella's story better since Barbara Gordon also grew up with just one parent, her dad, and she's younger than Kate Kane. The loss motivated Barbara, and when he saw how Batman was helping to make Gotham a better place, she decided to jump on the same train. Both Cinderella and Batgirl are brave and kind-hearted, so this seems like a good match.

6 Poison Vanessa

Yes, technically Vanessa from Ariel's story isn't a Disney princess, but considering how amazing and detailed this fan-art posted by Fanpop is, it still deserves a place on this list. Plus, you know what they say - every villain becomes a hero if the story is told from his point-of-view. So if Vanessa was telling the story and not Ariel, she could have easily ended up as a Disney princess in the end.

After all, Vanessa was trying to make Prince Eric fall in love with her so that he wouldn't marry Ariel. Poison Ivy is also great at making people do what she wants, so these two fit together well.

5 Enchanted Belle

Another supervillain who deserves a spot on this list is even more dangerous than Poison Ivy, or Poison Vanessa if you'd like, and that's saying a lot. Enchantress is a powerful sorceress who is a member of the Suicide Squad. Needless to say, joining the Suicide Squad wasn't her choice, and Amanda Waller, who controls the team, is playing with fire when she includes Enchantress in it.

In her civil identity as June Moore, she's much more civil and works as a graphic designer. She and Belle both have a close relationship to magic, as this fan-art posted by AzaleasDolls reminds, and if Belle was Enchantress, she'd probably manage to lift off the Beast's spell in no time at all.

4 Aqua Ariel 2.0

Ariel reimagined as Aquaman has already appeared on this list, but she deserves another mention. If your child loves both DC and Disney (and honestly, who doesn't?), and you're looking for a way to add a bit of shine and decoration to your child's room, you can draw inspiration from the following fan-art collection by aegiskitty.

It's already been established above that Aquaman and Ariel are a good choice considering their natural habitat and their affinity for sea life and everything sea-related, but there's another possible way how you can look at it. If Aquaman and Mera ever broke up, he and Ariel would probably be a good couple.

3 Vixen As Tiana

Vixen is a less-known DC superhero, so unless you're reading the comics regularly, you may not be so familiar with her since she hasn't appeared in a live-action movie so far. Just as a reminder, Vixen first appeared in the comics in 1981. Vixen gained her superpowers when she came into possession of the Tantu Totem.

The totem allows her to harness the spirit of the animals, and she can then have the same skills as the animals, without physically turning into an animal. So she can be as strong as a bear, or as fast as a leopard. Considering Tiana's closeness to nature, this fan-art by aegiskitty is also a good match.

2 Wonder Snow

Snow White is one of the most popular Disney princesses of all time, so it doesn't really come as a surprise that she would appear on this list more than just once. Snow White's story is as dramatic as it can be, but it also contains a lot of feel-good moments, and she does manage to find true love in the end.

Switch Snow White's name for Wonder Woman and you get the same result. Diana has faced many challenges since she left Themyscira and came into the world of men, but she never gave up, and that's what she and Snow White have in common. Plus, there's no denying that the combo looks great, as this fan-art by aegiskitty demonstrates.

1 Justice Princesses

Justice Princesses may sound like a name for an elementary school music band, but there's no reason why it couldn't work. After all, most Disney princesses kick some serious ass, so they're already superheroes in everything that matters. And it goes the other way around as well - a lot of DC superheroes have a softer side to them and would make excellent princesses.

That said, while fighting villains alone can be fun, doing it in a team such as Justice League is even better. If you don't believe it, just check this awesome fan-art by Phos ComicArt and enjoy all the intricate details.
