Very Cavallari star Kristin Cavallari has revealed that she'll be making an appearance during season 2 of The Hills: New Beginnings - but only for one episode. Even still, she's very excited about the quick reunion.
It seems like ages since Kristin Cavallari first appeared on MTV's Laguna Beach alongside Lauren Conrad in 2004 before she pivoted to join the cast of The Hills in 2009. Since the series finished airing, Kristin has gone on to star in her own reality show, she married former NFL player Jay Cutler with whom she shares three children. On top of starting her family, she's also become a prominent clothing and jewelry designer. Though she initially turned down the opportunity to be on the series when the reboot was announced due to her own busy schedule, it seems that Kristin is now ready to make her return to The Hills: New Beginnings for it's upcoming 2nd season.
When asked if she would be appearing on the upcoming season while at a launch party in West Hollywood this past Thursday (via ET) Cavallari said that she would "make an appearance on The Hills" though she wasn't sure what she "can and can't say" about the cameo. The 33-year-old says she's "actually very excited" about her return to the series and that she thinks "it's going to be fun to go back and see the old gang," adding that she is "looking forward to it." As of right now Kristin has yet to film anything because the season "just started filming" and she hasn't received any details about her schedule, but she will be on the season. When asked if her husband Jay Cutler would be on the series Kristin laughed, saying that "he would never. He wouldn't do it," and added that she "can barely get him to do Very Cavallari." The mom of three said, "I think secretly he has fun doing [Very Cavallari]. He would never admit it," but is confident he won't be on The Hills.
Since she hasn't received her filming schedule yet, Kristin isn't sure what her storyline will be, and when asked if she'd be in any scenes with her ex-boyfriend Brody Jenner, Cavallari said she "would also like to know" the answer to that. Kristin said she doesn't know what to expect because it's "a whole new production team" and she added that "hopefully it won't be as manufactured," something The Hills was often criticized for. The designer said that she's "happy to be a part of an iconic show" and she thinks it's "awesome that people are still so invested in that here we are 10 years later." Kristin might be in for some awkward interactions with Jenner, but The Hills stars Heidi Montag and Audrina Patridge recently made an appearance on Cavallari's show, so she'll still be among friends.
When The Hills: New Beginnings reboot was first announced, fans thought that there was no chance of Kristin returning to the series since she had moved on her to own show and a new chapter of her life. With Very Cavallari still filming, it's not likely that Kristin would be joining The Hills: New Beginnings cast as a permanent fixture, but it's possible that this one-time appearance could turn into numerous cameos for Cavallari depending on how her first appearance is received by viewers and the always-dramatic cast of The Hills: New Beginnings.
