Star of Jersey Shore Ronnie Ortiz Magro's ex girlfriend and baby mama Jen Harley is poking fun at her recent arrest. Jen posted her first selfie since being arrested last weekend. In the comments section of the post, Jen was found making jokes about wishing she had a fresh set of eyelashes prior to her mugshot. Jen even shut down some Internet trolls before turning off the commenting ability on the post.
Jen was arrested on June 19. She was taken into custody on accounts of domestic battery and assault with a deadly weapon. While Jen has had a toxic past with Ronnie, this incident did not involve her daughter's father. She and her new boyfriend Joe were headed to dinner when they began to fight over parking. After being kicked out of the restaurant, Jen and Joe continued to argue on the ride home. Jen ultimately abandoned Joe on the side of the road before welcoming him home with a gun aimed at him.
Less than a week after her arrest, Jen is already poking fun at the recent incident. Although Jen had been active on social media just days after being taken into custody, she had not yet posted to her feed. On Friday, Jen shared her first selfie on Instagram since her latest physical altercation with Joe. Jen posted a close up photo of herself, showing off her voluminous lashes. In the comments section of the post, Jen was caught making jokes about her latest mugshot. Jen initially captioned the post, "Lashes make everything better," before tagging her lash artist. In the comments section, one fan wrote, "Too bad you didn't have them pre mug shot. Lol." Jen later responded to the fan, joking, "ugh I know."
While some fans thought Jen's comment was quite funny, others are tired of her continuing to get away with incidents like this. Unlike her past arrests, Jen has finally received some type of consequence for her actions. It was recently reported that some brands that Jen has worked with in the past plan to cut ties with her for good. As more and more details surfaced surrounding the events leading up to Jen's arrest, companies no longer wanted to associate themselves with her. Jen's team later spoke out, denying the claims while also explaining that many of the companies had only worked with Jen for one time deals. They revealed that Jen is considering taking legal action against the false claims.
Unlike when Ronnie was arrested back in April, his and Jen's shared daughter was not present at the time of Jen's latest arrest. Luckily, the 3-year-old was with Ronnie and his now fiancé Saffire Matos, celebrating both Father's Day weekend and the couple's recent engagement. Ironically, Jen was arrested the same day the Jersey Shore star proposed.
