This OG franchise couple slowly retreated into a more private lifestyle. Unlike many couples from the show, they didn't use the TLC reality show as a way to access fame and earn money. They share two beautiful boys. Louis has two other sons from his previous marriage.
The couple first began their relationship online, via a dating service. Aya is from the Philippines and when things got serious between them, Louis decided to apply for the K-1 visa. Their connection was authentic, as proved by Aya's efforts to be a great stepmom to Louis' kids. The 30-year-old Filipino beauty even participated in Louis’ son's magic show, which included an illusion of a sword going through her throat. She was a good sport about being the magician's assistant. Although Aya originally wanted Louis to move to her home country, they could not because he had two young kids. They ended up moving to the USA.
Aya worried about meeting Louis’ ex-wife, to whom he was still close, and although the situation was awkward, they managed to be civil. During the journey on 90 Day FiancĂ©, they had a lot of high points, as they remained focused on their relationship. They strengthened their bond by going on dates to an amusement park and other fun places. The only bone of contention during their journey was the fact that Louis tried to save a lot of money for their wedding, which upset Aya. However, they managed to sort out their wedding-related financial issues. They tied the knot in a Catholic Church in 2014. Long after season 1 ended, they remain a solid pair.
The pair are still married and welcomed a baby boy in June 2018. His name is Giovanni. Louis made a joke that he was not going to be a girl dad, which ended up being an accurate prediction. Louis and Aya revealed that they had another baby boy named Stefano who was born in November 2020. The couple has been blessed many times over. They keep to themselves and have rather humble Instagram followings.
Last year was tough for them because Louis contracted Covid-19 and was sick for a while. He noted that he lost a lot of weight while he was ill but gained it all back.
