Andrew and Amira's relationship on 90 Day Fiancé has not gone smoothly throughout the entirety of the season, and the pair have not even started their 90 days yet. After they hatched a plan to quarantine together in Mexico before entering the US, Amira was abruptly detained for days and sent back to her home country of France. Since then, the pair seem to be at odds with one another, even after they enacted a new plan for Amira to enter the US after quarantining in Serbia. Many fans have noticed amidst the tension that Andrew seems very manipulative.
Since the pair did not get an extension for their 90-day visa, they were up against the clock to bring Amira into the US. Reluctantly, Amira agreed to stay in Serbia for two weeks in order to be allowed to fly into the States. Amira said in her confessionals that she felt pressured by Andrew to put herself in potentially harmful conditions to get into the US. He has been earning the villain label during the entirety of season eight of 90 Day Fiancé.
Andrew and Amira's latest conversation showed some of Andrew's alarming and manipulative behaviors. Andrew said he wanted a loose promise of having kids sometime in the future, and Amira said she wanted to spend some time living with him first to see how their future would look. Many fans took Amira's side, especially after she revealed some of the disturbing texts Andrew sent to her after their fight about children. Fans on Reddit called Andrew out, saying, "This man is manipulative to a dangerous degree."
One Reddit user said Andrew is gaslighting Amira and "wants her to have kids to trap her with him." Another user said that "his eyes flash a certain way when he doesn't get his way or gets angry" and theorized that "he has an entirely different side of him we don't know about." One fan quoted something Andrew said during his conversation with Amira: "It sounds like you're tying the idea of having kids to some behavior of mine." Many fans called him out, saying Amira's logic of wanting to have a life partner she felt she could rely on before deciding to have kids makes sense, and Andrew was trying to spin the narrative.
Fans thought Andrew was putting words in Amira's mouth so she would seem like the bad guy. They also feel Amira would be better off leaving Andrew for good, as she seems eager to make him happy while he was always acting selfishly. However, Andrew has made claims that there is more to the story and his conversations and texts were all TV tricks to villainize him. Fans hope to see a lot more from this couple during the season eight Tell-All, where viewers might get more insight into the ins and outs of this relationship.
