But both women were fan favorites from Matt James' recently-concluded disastrous season that have the potential to give the franchise the boost it so desperately needs.
It hasn't been a good year for The Bachelor. After accusations of racism and lack of diversity blew up online last spring, the show cast its first Black lead in 25 seasons. Fans were delighted that Matt James had been selected as the Bachelor. However, the season, which was supposed to be historic and restore the show's image, went awry.
